For people who don't know AAU POV controls:

So it's fiddly but pretty stable(if you ever get a bug that moves the conversation models out of the view during dialog just enter a new H scene and exit).
To change to the PC's POV I usually do the following:
press Q twice (change to PC's POV), press W(toggle head), press Q (default camera), undress PC and lose head, press Q twice.

As I understand it, subtitles will play the appropriate text for any action that happens, and because actions are global it has to play things that happen in rooms you aren't in. It's reading what the game sees, not what you see.

Wish AAU actually worked for me.

Well... It just freezes my game when i start AAU with administrator rights and doesnt find the AA2play when i start it without.
I should probably give up trying to get this shit to work.
It works fine with the Maker though...

I read the readme but all it says is it includes a fix for shiny dick from the previous version.

Might it be my install order? I just kind of threw everything together (which I think might be why in some 3D Rooms they stand on the bed for sitting blowjobs and the like) and started using the included launchers for MKIII.

When you were merging you probably had to rename a few bones so you have to make new tracks for those. What I'm interested in:

I'm thinking against dynamic adjustments of the POV position since the current ones are reasonable enough. With default offsets(all 0s) it's fixed right between the eyes and in the config I moved it a little inside the head(z=-0.5). I tried lining it up so that the partner looks at the camera. If you think it should be moved more I'm 100% ears.

It's the main change for now in terms of controls. Right now I set it to toggle head visibility when you change camera modes. So if you go from default camera it automatically disables your head. When you switch to your partner's POV it enables your head and disables theirs. To restore both heads press W in the default mode. Pressing W in POV mode toggles someone's head(most likely the actor's you're looking at). This whole section is subject to change. Basically fuck around and tell me "this shit is counter-intuitive and should be such and such".

Note: overrides functionality doesn't work with this build so if you have overriden hairs/tans you won't see them. Keep you current AAU build or you can get it in the same link.

Just gonna leave the .xa as is and call it a day. I'm going to release them separately along with the combined anyway.

It's a lot more stable / intuitive now, I think. If you find yourself stuck in a world of pitch black darkness clipping you realize that the 1st Person mode has been toggled off.

Overall it's working very well, though as expected when you go into poses like kissing / sucking / licking whatever it becomes a lot clippier (besides kissing that goes without saying, Annilingus male type with the girl stroking a shaft). Maybe set some sort of distance bigger in this case if at all possible.

It's also a bit weird to see your own stump depending how you look around at your surroundings since the head is disabled but I imagine there's no workaround to that, just how it is.

I'd think a nice feature would be to be able to regulate the distance with the arrow keys - instead of having to hold them for a while to see things from a further angle, just using them will 'fix' the camera further or closer. Of course, at one point you can't use the movement any further like the game's own camera, to take care of that.

No less, I'd love to see this integrated with the 'main' AAU. It's sure much more functional even with whatever improvements and fixes that can be added compared to the current unofficial build.

Can't set different offsets by-pose. I'll try some more to find the sweet spot. If I find it then the dynamic adjustment won't be necessary.

That neck part is there to stay sadly since it's part of the body and not the head. Even if we could scale the neck to 0 it would mess up the POV itself.

The current "peeking" is actually a side effect of still working arrow keys. If I can't find a good offset I'll add the adjustments.

Hackanon already included the test2 build's changes and added more(which you mostly see in the test3) so consider it already in. He's working on other things and I'm just polishing the POV feature.

yes. It's also mostly consistent with the vanilla AA2 file structure like with eyes/highlights.
I guess it's a pain to pack a card with all the extras with a complicated hierarchy but it can be solved by having a blank copy of hierarchy that you can fill with you mods(in all it's folder).

How do people snowflake their stuff? The old way with the editor works but using cardface replacers(tried ReiEdit, CPL, AA2Snowflake) overwrites AAU data.
