Also if you plan on training Adventurer then I recommend training Rest and Campfire. They give a crap ton of exp for little work. I'm only training fishing because I got too lazy running Karu Forest for the stupid book.

Which crafting skill are you guys using or are used to doing while smacking hostiles around? I personally haven't gotten deep into crafting, but almost tried out Tailoring in Ragnarok Online 2 before my interest dwindled.

Farming, fishing and cooking have taken the backseat on dev priorities in Dragon Nest. Farming is only viable for apples that can be used to craft the only ways to revive after getting killed in a raid, and cooking has just been featured in an event recently.

Never played at launch. I got in at ascension. The levels are pretty and I dig the concept and the final fantasy aesthetic they got going but the gameplay loop sucks.

I can't be assed to complete the open world maps for the enemy knowledge to get the gunslinger on top of clearing the levels to get to the temple. Even though that was my main motivation. Maybe if the combat was more fun but it's too fucking dumbed down and enemies take too many hits to kill so I can't really pretend it's like some knockoff musou thing

Alot of people didn't like the cap on advancement currencies, but they fixed that later with a catch-up mechanic. Probably far too late for that though.

Matchmaking for everything is based on your Might score, which is essentially level, but as the older playerbase keeps scaling up, the newer players still can't catch up fast enough so there's huge troughs of not being able to find groups. This is still as large a problem as it always was.

And now, classes have been dumbed down to mobage levels, you don't even get to pick which skills you want, you just unlock what's there. No fun allowed.

It's such a shame they squandered all the potential, even if it wasn't the best combat I really enjoyed the aesthetic. The sphere grid was cool and allowed you to constantly feel like you were growing while you worked towards the classes that you wanted to unlock and in whichever order you wanted.

I need tits and ass but not in blade and soul recommend me a game. Also no revo on china that game's shit.

With RO is quite different. Low level mobs often had super low drop rates for items that were useful on high end content or very specific situations (for example low level monster having a 0.01% drop rate card with an effect of +20% damage on X monster race, being useful for Y class to level at Z grindspot at lvl 90+). Or maybe common drops that you needed a million of, thus making the maps useful.
But still there were quite a lot of maps completely useless like most of the desert, and those were removed afterwards anyway for that exact reason and to not separate people too much.
