With WoW and many other MMO's you can just delete and remake your character without any hassle if the in-game representation doesn't match your expectations.

In BDO you have to either use a timed package (with many more perks than just unlimited edits for the duration) right off the bat, buy one of those coupons off the cash shop, or wait a day for deletion if you want to recreate your character with the same name.

It should be noted that I'm exclusively talking about fresh characters, and not ones with time already put into them.

It's a shame, because I'd buy all the costume mill outfits if they could be listed.
As it is I need to grind up the skill for the quests to make the materials to make the outfits. It's definitely a low priority though.

You only can't sell them AFTER you turn them into costumes. You can still sell the outfits themselves. I made a good bit of money making and selling the calpheon noble dress for a while after it was first added.
