just finished UBW. This ending was a lot happier than the fate one and infinitely more satisfying (excluding the fucking black hole bullshit).

The twist could be seen from a mile away, and when it was finally revealed, it just had no impact since literally everyone knew it at that point. Nasu went way overkill with the "muh ideals" inner monologues in this route and it felt like the same damn thing was being repeated over and over again.

and i'm not sure if it's just me, but there wasn't really that much hype for the fights. There were definitely more of them, but they just didn't have the same climactic moments in them.

desu I think I liked the fate route more in general. Gonna give it a week or so before starting HF.
