Nine is still really good at top level, but not the best. She gets stronger and stronger as the level of play goes down though, kind of like Azrael. She's ridiculous in netplay tier games.

Spiral Shift Chapters 3&4:

Grimmwood uses an axe as weapon.
9th unit is known as Hound unit. They kill and makes the enemy weaker so their ”owners” can easily kill the rest while getting all of the glory.
When Jin faced of against a rock giant, Jin heard a voice repeatedly telling Jin to kill it.

The reason why the rock giant was released seemed to be to get Jin to activate Yukianesa.
The place Jin was placed at is called the ”worst” front line because it’s being used as a test site for new weapons and a “hunting ground” for the nobles. There is no intention of ever having that front line either proceed or retreat.

The 9th unit was being sent to a Sector Seven laboratory in order to take back a Nox Nyctores that Sector Seven had taken from NOL, but Jin and the unit was 2 hours late. When they arrived, there were no one alive there in the laboratory, it was like most had have their souls taken from them.
As the unit was about to leave, the corpses began to move and attack them.

The unit soon realize that it’s a necromancer behind the moving corpses. If it’s were only drugs or an art the corpses would stop moving after losing their heads, but since they keep moving after being shot in the head they are being actively controlled.

Karengina possesses the drive Seagull, an ability she uses to search for people even if she can’t see them with the naked eye. Jin is surprised to meet an drive user, since it’s not like Ars magus you can use by simply training or by using technology. A drive is more like the shape or state of one’s soul.

After they took out the necromancer, they saw that it was actually a doll. Their opponent hadn’t been a necromancer, but a Puppet Master.

From far away, a masked man with a red doll said that he had observed something interesting(Seagull, Yukianesa).
