what are some STRONG scion builds?

Do the worms that come out of the writhing jar do damage?

I'm really dont know to take or not powerful precision, all it does is to free a gem slot but Pierce gives more damage.
If I keep pierce equipped then the node is only free crit, which sucks.

can someone shed some light on why EQ is good?
I've been playing a cyclone jugg as my first character, hitting about 54k dps fully buffed with my current gear.
now, i wanted to try something else, and had a look at some EQ guides. i compared my skilltree with the ones in the guides, and there wasnt any big differences, 85% identical.
i also have nothing on my gear that influences specifi skill gems. so i got myself EQ, linked it with less duration, melee phys, inc. aoe and fortify (i run the jugg passive with 30% increased damage while fortified).
fully buffed this amounted to 22k dps in the tooltip. i guess that doesn't factor in the aftershock? is cyclone dps in the tooltip somehow inflated?
or is it just the difference between a lvl19 cyclone and a lvl13 eq gem?
I'm not sure if it felt like I had lost more than half of my dps, but it certainly felt slower vs rares and bosses.

since you have experience with the build, would you say that getting an Hezmanas instead of my Kaoms would be an upgrade? The mana issues I semi-regularly run into despite running Blasphemy Warlords Mark (obviously happens a lot in hexproof maps) would be completely solved, and I think I could ditch the Warlords setup completely. Instead I could use Herald of Ash together with my Hatred. If you know what you're doing (ie be a 5 quicksilver wearing mathil-clone with LE BIRLINNG BLADES :DD or immortal call cheese) it's "ez". It takes a while to get used to that though because your first instinct is "slow and steady" when you see those fucktarded traps, but sonic speed is actually safer in most cases.

The bosses are also mega overtuned for their levels, in terms of damage.

I'll add that hardcore poe is, so far, the best kind of hardcore mode, hc D3 makes no sense since you can and should tailor the difficulty to what is most efficient for your character, which often results in steam rolling rifts for drops, the only time you take 'risk' is in grifts and even there only a retard would try a +10grift if hes not prepared for it because you just cant have a challenge, its either steamroll or get destroyed.

You can have plenty of tense moments in poe on hc even when you're feeling comfortable, makes each map so much more interesting.

Why is leveling cancer?
I use unique. I use auras. I use all the tricksy bullshit I can, but it is still just the least fun shit in the world. I love maps and boss runs but goddamn leveling is the worst. Is there anything that's actually decently fun to level as?

I did a bit of research and it looks like they can get over 20k life, that would be around 7k base fire damage.

if it doesnt take more time for the golem to reach 33% life than it takes to cast a 10 stack flameblast with some decent cast speed it might be worth it.
Equip a doryianis, some fire damage jewelry, the build would have 312% life at level 84 with something like 16-17 % life regen.

First of all, your gear is shit. Spend ~20 chaos on poe.trade buying gear with at least 70 life + fill resistances according to need. That should leave you at ~ 4.5k at least.

Second, on your tree:

Drop Fervour (the frenzy charge) (temporarily, get it back when you fix your hp, or not, unless your build depends on frenzy charges)
Drop Weapon Artistry
Drop the +30 int node (get int from gear rather than the tree)
Get Herbalism (this is one of the first hp nodes you should get while leveling a ranger)
