YES! I've wanted this for years. It could easily be done as well, because you always get 2 patches of either Corruption or Crimson (at least on medium worlds), and replacing one with the other should be no sweat.

It would be really cool if they fought for the world as well, kind of like Corruption and Hallow did before they just stopped eachother.

This is probably my only gripe about the game

First I think we should look to how Corruption and Hallow relate to each other and the Purity. Neither of them deviate too far from the Purity I feel, designwise. They mostly seem like just dark/gloomy and bright/cheerful versions of it. Crimson is a little bit more out there in its design what with the land being overrun by rampant flesh. With that in mind, I think a Hallow replacer should mirror the Crimson in the same way. So I'm thinking inorganic. Stone and crystal based everything. Crystalline spikes acting as trees, stone elemental enemies, so on and so forth.
