As is if you're unlucky you can go an entire event getting no fucking content whatsoever unless you pay an absolutely retarded cost for it. What's the point of having currency if the only things buyable with the currency are the default skins that shipped with the game 5 months ago?

Ofc they seem medicore to your/or general taste but from a gamedesign perspective the overwatch halloween skins were going through a lot of work

They have many new models and tiny models on their characters and not only texture differences. You need to trust me in this that one of these skins were at least double the effort (both, in time and work) than one of the lol skins.

Now they even added emotes and intros which are a ton of work aswell.

So if we talk about effort in general, blizzard is putting way more dedication into this.
