It seems like a perfect skill to flood the screen with numbers for videos. But how usable is this in practice especially if you aren't built for dps (no dex, no str)? And it's probably unusable in pvp too.

This would give me a total of 542-759 base damage mace and couple that with cleric DoV thats 1.5k increased damage with just weapons only and would add up to 2k with base damage, add this to werewolf damage which is 5.6k base, thats 7.6k base damage, now this item also adds 532 magic attack which means it adds 1064 magic attack thanks to DoV so in total, with this weapon your werewolf skills would have 8.6k total damage, and one of them has 0cd that hits two times with 80% base damage

Some of those points are fun points. Giant Swing and Stomping for instance (nothing more fun that doing 3 lulzy angry stomps on an enemy). As for Doppel 3 abilities I choose to only max the one that has 2 Overheats and ignores defense. The other is just for the debuff.

Zornhau from what I hear becomes an actual multi-hit (need some info from Doppels who actually have learned the attribute) with the new attribute, so it's worth boosting it's base attack. If not, then I'll dump the points to the new other skill instead.

DoV and Cyclone max'd are a no-brainer, but I also want Punish due to the new attribute making it an AoE and it's an ability you don't have to even put in your hotbar which is great for me who uses a controller.

It's not a good skill for the fact that it limits how many hits you can do. I've had it in the past and I rather not anymore. I stopped using it entirely.

Guys, counting ONLY exploration cards that are level 14. There is 572,000,000 worth of exp.
That will take you from 300 to to 315 (almost 316).

To go from 315 to 330, you need 76 level 14 exp cards.
There is about 165 level 14 exp cards from questing. 76 exp cards represents 5 areas and 1 quest in a 6th.

The only difficult part about levelling up at rank 8 right now is going from 280 to 300. But with exploration you can go from 280 to at minimum 290. There are 4 maps you can't explore fully (due to needing to quest to unlock them) and a few are hard to explore due to aggressive mage mobs everywhere.

There is exp through exploration only to take you from 280 to 295.
295 to 300 requires 35 level 13 exp cards, which is just over 2 areas of quests.

Provided you can explore those annoying dungeon maps (Tevhrin cave) you can easily go from 280 to 330 in a day and with minimal questing.
Infact, of the 32 new maps in the game, you need to quest on 7 of them (well technically 9 but two maps only need 1 quest completed on each).

You will never ever need to grind after 280, there is so much exp cards you could get to like level 380 with them all or something dumb.
Just find a party and bum rush some easy quests then explore all the new maps. Outside of dungeons mobs on the new maps aren't aggressive at all.

Rank 8 is a joke to level in. You'll spend less time grinding or questing and more time just walking around maps.

A part of this is due to +1 card for exploring right now.

Might now seem like much, but when 1 card is 2.4, 3.4 or 13 million exp and there are 32 new maps to explore, it works out to be an absolute shit load. It's 11 new level 14 exp cards, which is almost 150 million exp extra, from 11 fucking cards.

It's hilarious how much the R8 patch is giving the finger to the people who complained earlier...

You can cruise the game on solo? You'll have to party up from now on.

You can just use some +0 white stuff until you get your BiS gears? Have fun getting 2-shot.

This would be primarily a pvp build. I took rogue 2 rather than musket because I'm planning to continue up to Hakka3. And musket1 damage would probably fall off by then. inb4 >rank9/10 My main tactic would be just auto-attacking people to death. Why I made this though is because of the prospect of using full TS cards, although I'm not sure how they work.

I noticed nobody has really been discussing their own r8 classes, just talking about doppels and bug reporting.

How is your R8? I havent heard anyone talk about their Taoshi or Inquisitor or even Hackapel. Heck how is Dragoon C2? People kept talking about how OP Dethrone is and from what I can tell Itos has 10 second Serpentine still?

Plague Doctor C2 is extremely strong, theres pretty much no mob I found I cant kill at most in 30 seconds (one cast of DE + Plague Vapor Incinerate). Plague Vapor works with Pandemic so its a pretty stupid amount of AOE. You need to kite everything though since you have no CC.

I think Diev PD2 might be great for this reason since they can Laima slow stuff.

Oracle C3 is pretty mediocre. Moving circle is cool but not really practical to make use of outside throwing invincibility from the front line to the back line. Twist of Fate is strong but we don't have the bugfix to make it work on dungeon/mission/story bosses like it is supposed to. Death sentence 2 min CD is nice but unfortunately the new miniboss mobs are immune to it. Basically exists to be GvG support that throws invincibility circle and status immunity that lasts over 1 minute and has no other real use.

Many swordmen are sharing builds and what is viable and what is terrible. They mind their own business and share knowledge of stats / mechanics and hidden damage formulas. Information from the kTOS version is brought into the discussion and we mind our own business. We realize our state is not great and even leveling is pure torture. We have to rely on potions to every mob fight to keep going and have huge down time. We accept these faults and move on.

Then something happens. Wild shitposters appear. A meme is born about "hahaman", the Highlander C3. Why is it called a hahaman you ask? Because in Korea the Skyliner skill had 0 cooldown, but not in iTOS version, so people who rolled Highlander regardless were mocked.

Then the mocking continued to other sword trees. Were you a squire full CON or a hoplite you got mocked.

Pictures of swordmen in mercenery missions +15 levels who couldn't get near the bosses sitting next to bonfires.

Shitposting of swords got to a level that people were saying shit like

>"HE ROLLED A BRbarian xDD"

Name shaming of swords on every server. Toxic players were shaming the entire sword tree because they were superior. Who was superior? Mages. In every aspect of the game mages excelled. They had AoE, survavability and no costs in repairs because they never got hit.

Fast forward to now, October patch hit and sword trees have gone through major differences. What do we see in the thread now?

Some builds:
Cata leans towards pvp; most go Swordsman3Cata3Dragoon for spamming stun with rush. At rank 8, you can choose between Dragoon and Lancer. Lancer is an actual mounted class (and also leans towards pvp), while Dragoons are not mounted but all their skills can be used while mounted.
SR is a rank 6 class and uses pistol + bow on mounts (you'll want to go all the way to SR3) Hakkapell is a rank 8 archer class that uses sword + bow.

This game is depressing.

It has an art style I love.
It has combat I love.
It has class variety I love.
It has music I love.
It has cuteness that I love.

However now it has grind so tough and hard and unfair that I can't. I can't. It's not the EXP. It's not the 290 zones.

Running Shot is worth it. It gives an awesome boost to your autoattacks! Still, QS3 falls flat in late game quite a lot. Still, you have SR3 which is pretty damn good. I wish I could reset my last two ranks and get the same build.
