It's only really relevant for casters that get the relevant skill gems, but it's a good start. Assuming prebought leveling gear and no external help, you should be able to do it even faster if you're efficient.

For act 5 end boss. I think a return to Oriath would be a really cool twist. Possibly be the cause of or following closely behind the corruption that leads to its downfall just like how Sarn fell. Boss could be Dominius.

From what I understand of poe lore. Dominius is the theocratic ruler of Theopolis. So unless he is usurped while he is gone he would be the defacto top dog/boss of Oriath.

Another possibility would be for the final boss of Oriath have nothing to do with the Theocracy. So you could kill him again early and face a larger threat.

that would make sense, if time investment was rewarded in poe. i don't need any permanence in the game, because the game is not balanced around permanence. temp leagues keep me coming back even after breaks and i never entertain the idea of playing a single character more than 3 months.

How the fuuck do you build anything in this game? the only thing I coan find is 300% es or 170% health for lifepool depending on your character, armor is worthless, and only cap resists with gear. Nothing else is helpful in the slightest for figuring out builds.

But generally, if you know enough about something, you can explain it simply. However every single guide i see is overcomplicated, and half the time doesn't do half the shit it says it will because of the tooltip dickwaving, so oyu wind up with hundreds of guides with chodes taking thier 10k dps hero and standing next to an offscreen aura bot.

The only things I can find as for generally agreeed upon, is health pools. Damage seems to be a crapshoot.

For example, there's lots of people saying to go crit you HAVE to only got for crit nodes and basically belay all damage. While the guides show people going for just the disembowling cluster and nothing else on a lot of builds.

Then there's people saying elemental damage is worhtless and not to get it, but then they run hearald of ash and hatred. Lots of contradictory statements for almost every fucking guide there is.

Herald of ash and hatred give extra damage based off physical damage. Which is why people take those if they're already stacking physical damage. Going north from Highgate takes us to the very western edge of a place called the Vastiri Plains. From there, northeast leads to Maraketh proper, and north leads to a different region called Phaaryl.

Since walking through same-y plains for an entire act doesn't sound particularly interesting, I'm assuming we'll go a little north and then follow the rivers, lakes and valleys up to Phaaryl. There's a lot more stuff on the western side of the map, so from there we'll probably go that way towards Ezomyr and the Isles of Skothe. There's also a pretty cool fireball shaped island around over there with a big-ass volcano in the middle, which might be a thing. From Ezomyr, we could sail south to Trarthus, then from there we go east to Cape Awanotui and the rest of the Karui lands. Then we go back to Oriath.

Based on this, I predict the following

A5 - Maraketh and Maraketh adjacent lands
A6 - Unexplored northern foothills and the Isles of Skothe
A7 - Ezomyr
A8 - Trarthus
A9 - Karui
A10 - Return to Oriath and Conclusion

That's it. Monsters which are not 1-shot by PB will still spread Contagion and ED as usual. It's just that when monsters die, they do the PB explosion first then fail to spread Contagion etc later.

We realize this interaction is undesirable for some players, however it is not at all easy to change and would require pretty much rewriting both Contagion and ED from scratch (under the guiding light of The Great Buff Refactor), but even then we are uncertain if this can ever be changed.

Generally speaking, you only pick up best Rare bases below 75, ID them, then dump them unless it's a belt/ring/Ammy or good stats.
Then when you got 2 Rings, a Belt, and an Amulet, just grab whatever rares to fill in the rest.

There's not even 300% increased chaos damage in the tree. If you've got like 100% increased chaos, 150% dot damage, 50% projectile damage, and 20-30% spell damage, which is more what an ED build will have than purely 300% chaos damage, you won't oneshot equal health mobs with profane bloom (even with vuln and the increased damage take and reduced chaos res from occultist), but will still deal good damage with ED.
