I actually thought the junctions and the specters were a really cool touch, speaking to the history and nature of the system and the tenno relative to the player and their place in the world - like fighting chozo ghosts or some shit

it's just a shame that the tasks and feel of it all is so loose and haphazard, and it probably didn't help that when I played it the game was practically falling apart on the server side and there were ungodly waves of sleek related to the new systems... I'd imagine that for a new player working their way up to these objectives and finally facing each of these specters, it's a bit more awe-inspiring, but even setting aside personal fatigue the progression structure and new player experience needs a lot more tightening, like a well-informed or grind-heavy player will probably just oneshot them even on their first try as they progress through the game

Not really, since you need specific planets for some resources, you can't build up a lot of gear. Not to mention the real grind doesn't even start until you get to planets with good grinding spots, so smart players will try to blow through planets as quickly as possible at the start.

So I've never played Mass Effect 3 until 3 days ago and...

HOLY SHIT I understand why DE are fucking failures.

The Starmap in ME3 is fucking awesome.
The "Liset" in ME3 is fucking awesome.
Character customization is ass in ME3 but that's ok because the gear you get makes up for it.


But the main point is DE tried to steal their "Star Map" and "Liset" feature and failed.

Who remembers when DE first displayed our Liset? It was better than the turd they shitted out.

Even our relays fucking suck. There is NOTHING cool about having over 50 fucking Warframes CLIPPING into each other.

tl;dr Where the fuck is The War Within, I'm going back to ME3.

As someone who just unlocked all the planets yesterday. Rhino was a hard junction because I did so little dmg and he had so much health. But as the game progressed the junctions became literally trivial. I would of been fine if the later junctions were level 50-60 spectres instead of 30-35. They junctions lost their difficulty they had early on.

I think you can OHKO any junction with radial blind then melee with no mods.

I actually like the spy missions that require underwater navigation, it adds more variety to the game

I often find space is too large, underwater is a more manageable area for fighting and lacks the disorienting extra axis

If I'm going to dump forma in a frame which one should I choose first? Options are Nova, Banshee, and Mirage when I get her.

it's also painfully slow to maneuver. space is large because you blaze through it like a fucking rocket, which actually feels good. that's why trench run missions as so much wirse than open space. plus more than once i've struggled to find the poorly marked dedicated water exit, which is annoying as fuck. I hate uranus spy missions, mostly because archwing navigation is so shit that any laser barriers in the underwater section is just a huge fuck you. at least in one datavault when I ran a uranous spy I got spotted during the stupid archwing surfacing animation, which was pretty bullshit too.

Telos Boltor maybe? I almost exclusively use launchers, bows, and shotguns but that's my go-to for full auto. Other than the the zhuge is pretty good, has high crit and higher status chance with good damage, drawbacks being a small magazine and slower rate of fire.

Helios only scans things that you don't have in your codex already (orange when viewed through scanners) he will scan plants if you hold still and look at them and will scan space cats until they're in the codex (green through a scanner)

A fully upgraded synthesis scanner paired with CC is much better for space cats, or just use the scanhammar when everyone else has finished scanning.

The double-scanner can help with plant scanning.

yeah, I'm done with cats for now, but it's really just the plant scanning, I remember helios used to go crazy and scan shit he wasn't supposed to and I wish I could turn that on selectively for anything that gives scan rewards or even just the plants... but I've got the maxed out synth scanner with infinite charges and double scan chance, so it's going by as fast as it can I guess

I scanned enough for and then burned through 5 nightfall apothic and ended up with 4 pisol amps, a crimson dervish, and a few blind justice, but no fucking growing power

I'm finally having fun with Archwing after getting a different primary and melee weapon. Problem is there are barely any maps
two exterminations
a lame walk in the park Corpus sabotage
a "rush" mission which is the same shitty map as the Corpus sabotage
a "pursuit" mission that barely works like its supposed to
Then the two good interception and mobile defense game types no one ever plays. Its a damn shame too because mobile defense turns into a total killing field and is actually pretty entertaining.

Why did they push this so hard then never provide any reason for people to actually play it? Why is Tellurium harder to come across than Argon?
Are they going to double down on archwing, or retcon it out and convert all arch gear to endo?

Underwater doesn't count and is all garbage beyond redemption.
