TrueSkill is just a method of determining how good you are, it's not a hidden ranking. you get points for winning + how good you did in the match, and that's multiplied by your "deviation" score which is simply how sure the system is about what ranking you belong in. it only changes if you lose against people far lowered ranked than you, or if you win against people far higher ranked than you.

I agree, I've played Sirius a ton. But he's inherently weak at higher elo. Your petrify is neigh impossible to land unless you chain cc it like it's meant to. Your damage is 100% melee outside of ex m1 which you should be using. At the start of the round Sirius has the least pressure out of all the supports. He either goes in with space bar m1 > q > m1 and chunks like fuck at lower elo, or he goes in with space bar then nobody hits his counter then he gets punished to death basically. And if you don't space in at the right time you literally do nothing but sit there with zero pressure. Honestly he's probably one of the best characters to climb through low elo with due to landing your counter much easier. He's also really good when paired with a good Taya as Taya can do all the boxing/poking and if she ever gets engaged on you can smack a bitch without wasting spacebar. I duo'd with a Taya (tommyhillpicker) for like 50+ games and we only lost 2-3 which were against g14 duos

I've never been g14 but after 46 wins 15 loses on Sirius in g13 mmr that's what I think. I love playing him and he can be really good but the bottom line is his kit is very mediocre.

I leveled a Shifu alt to 4k, but that's more about Shifu than anything else. I think you just have to accept there's going to be one character you click with more than the rest and play that champ into the ground if you want to improve

What I've seen in the past is display your highest ranking on your profile while your actual ranking is still dynamic. So if you hit G13 and then tank to G12 playing random bullshit, it will still display as G13 on your profile.

It's not really any better, but it might help people with their ranked anxiety. Your idea is pretty bad, because it allows for people on edge to a rank to winstreak into a place they don't deserve, and then never drop. It would essentially cause rank inflation as the season goes on, kind of like how Hearthstone operates, except worse, because the seasons would be much longer than a single month.
