Frame rate and programming is quite bad day 1. I'd say passable after a patch.
It cute as hell and quite fun though, so I guess that's why everyone gave it 5 stars.

It's kinda like Portrait of Ruin, so there's some merit for being a rarer genre, but it's indie level production of course.

Just got Toukiden Kiwami for the PS4 after playing over 100 hours on my vita.

Damn, I didn't expect the game to be this much nicer on the ps4. Definitely worth the 20€ I spent. Also much more enjoyable than God Eater to me still.

I just got done with GE2RB, there isn't really anything left for me to do other than trying to do clear missions faster.
Cleared every mission with SSS+, did all D15 Survival Missions at +99, made all R15 weapons and loaded my main set with 4 skill composite skills, mastered all BA/BBs for every weapon type. Couldn't be bothered having every character learn every ability though, fuck that.

I still need to play through GER, I only got up to D7 before RB came out and I switched to it.

Game sales are incredibly front loaded. It's something like about 80% of your sales are within the first 2-4 weeks of release. There's some exceptions to that like with Nintendo games and Minecraft Vita in Japan, but as I said those are exceptions.
So for a game to be on the top selling list after the first month means that it either is having good legs and continuing to sell, or the competition is so low that even with that steep drop off they're still doing better than their competitors.
Cyber Sleuth is both a baseline for how well a Digimon game will do in the west, and how well an RPG on Vita will do in the west in 2016. They looked at those numbers and went with the PS4 version of Next Order and improving it instead. Nothing more.
