Some people would recommend Thermite, however, I would advise against this. Thermite requires a modicum of map knowledge (okay, they're at this site, which are the best reinforced walls to blow up to get good angles here) and also game knowledge (shit, their bandit is doing the battery trick, i have to time the charge right with my Thatcher/frag-grenade-guys/Twitch etc)

For this reason, I actually think Thatcher would be a better choice for a staple operator. You can't go wrong with him as long as you stick as glue to your Thermite (at least when you're new) and throw your EMP at whichever muted or electrified wall needs to get blown up (and later, at clusters of devices - just remember that it goes through walls, so if you know they have a Jager, don't throw in the room, throw it on the other side of the wall where the Jager device is so that it doesnt zap your EMP). He also has good guns (AR33 is love)

Sledge is also a good pick, can't go wrong with him.

I dunno I got almost 1000 hours in this game and I've seen stuff like that thousands of times, done it myself and it's been done it to me. Especially on that roof. One time I was in unrenforced connector on defense and an enemy shot to open the window from that roof, the bullet went through the window, past the monitors, through the wall, and into my head. I'm just saying, in my experience I've been called a wallhacker so many times just for seeing with a drone someone camping and prefiring them or shooting them through a wall. It's ridiculous how many people call cheats in this game, it's half the reason I disabled chat. I was watching Remorce's stream one time and he said that calling someone a hacker means their skill level is so beyond yours that you can't even comprehend it, and he's right. Lower level players especially who can't comprehend how badly they just got outplayed, they're the first to call walls. A lot of the time it's because low level players camp, either for lack of skill or confidence, and this is so easy to take advantage of if you know what you're doing. Case in point that webm, the guy was camping in the connector door, maybe Ash saw him on the drone. Maybe it was a callout. Recently people have been abusing the net code while I'm playing montagne and IT'S lame. I dunno if its a plat thing or not, but every time I have an extended shield 1 speed operators just run straight at me run to my left and their knife/shotgun goes right through my shield despite noise being made and kill cam show in my shield being hit.
