Nine doesn't really uses OD combos. Japanese tops are usually happy with 3k damage. If you want better damage, you can do setup with fairy or fire rain and j.2A j.D (timer). You can get 5k without heat with that.

Except not at all? To explain Amane's bnbs i would have to write a lot more text than i'm willing to. Basically, if you have level 2 or 3 drill and caught opponent in the air you can from most positions combo into 6C 236D-B 6C (2 hits) 2D 236A j.6D j.236A 6C 236C (at lvl 3 instead of 236A do 214A 6C 6D 236B 6C 236C). If you caught opponent standing with 5C (2 hits only), 2C or j.C (at low enough height) do 236A j.B 6D 5C 6C (1 hit) (at lvl 3 just 6C) 236D-B 6C and so on. If you caught opponent with 5B or 2B at close range do 6B 5C (1 hit) 236A j.B 6D and so on. In the corner just do 214C to launch. But there are many, many more ways to combo with Amane. Different routes depending on starters, on drill level, on confirms and hitstun decay. You should watch japanese tops if you want to learn.

Carl is a tragic character that completely deserves everything bad that happens to him. He's not a psycho, his tears and words are sincere. He just pushes himself too far throughout the series until he eventually breaks.

Strictly speaking, his motivation is to save his sister, which WAS possible, but not in the murderhobo azure solves everything way he went about it, kind of like a more eloquent Arakune.

He could have achieved his goal if he was nicer to people (lifting Ada's soul out of Nirvana would have done it, seeing Nirvana works perfectly well without it), but his abandonment issues put ideas into his head about how he shouldn't rely on others. For some reason though, probably unironically because of his midget complex, he's just overly agressive about everything. Since he couldn't become a better person, he ultimately lost what hope he had, and edge is all that remains.

Carl is a fantastic character that gives me faith in the writing of Blazblue. He's also a fucking asshole.

On one hand, his ultimate goal was a world where the Master Unit didn't interfere.... which means in the end he technically gets he wants, it's just he never got to replace the Master Unit with his own creation or anything like that.

For the "female" side, you can use a regular human as a base, or you can make it completely artificially. The "male" side, or "father" is essentially the Black Beast. Izanami finds it funny, and says she is technically a "child" of the Black Beast. Relius corrects her, saying that it's a little different, but it doesn't really matter that much. He continues to say that the production of all PFDs involves "breeding" the female to the Black Beast; Izanami's body is no exception. Saya asks if the same applies to Ragna and Jin. Relius confirms that yes, they too are "children" of No. 5.

That's not how it works. Ragna never had to enter the Master Unit, he only had to end Saya's "desire". Ragna does not have to physically be inside the Master Unit in order to be with Saya. The Master Unit itself IS Saya, so along as he's the master of the Master Unit, they can always be together. There's any number of ways that fate can be interpreted.

The memory erasure happened BEFORE he activated the Master Unit. Ragna personally erased his memories from most of the Entitled, AND he also had Amane erase all data regarding him from Takamagahara. After that, he activated the Master Unit and had it reboot the reconstruction of the world, while promising Saya that they'd "be together forever". But at no point is it stated that he needs to enter the Master Unit for that to happen. In the current state of the world, the Master Unit isn't even necessary. Takamagahara is now the world's Observer. The world no longer needs the Master Unit.

After that, Ragna has a chat with Amane and erases his memories of Ragna as well. And then they both "leave". That is what was shown. Again, Ragna never had to enter the Master Unit. Ever. Based on what was said and shown at the end of BBCF, his fate is pretty much a complete blank state.

I know all those things. Ragna specifically describes Jin getting Yukianesa over ten years ago, even in Japanese, when he's talking to Jin in Jin's CS route. Bloodedge Experience takes place only over a hundred years ago rather than hundreds, but Relius is young in BEE. It can't take a significant amount of time before BEE. So it's a weird thing.

I just looked up the JP version of Ragna's CP arcade and they do say Izanami in there, thought they didn't. Weird thing to fuck up considering it's written Sword of Hades.
