small translation update:
here is a snapshot of my current Plugins folder. If anyone has a more recent image translation, please say so. I may well have missed some updates or fixes.

Changelog:
- merge Tsundere dialogue from Fireburn180.
- merge dialogues from asdfqwertyasdf.
- reorder dialogues by order shown in studio voices dialog and copy them to studio. (sharing the files without level context seemed to slow down the game.)
- spelling fixes for clothes and items found by Monkey Boy.
- better translations for personality.
- include the ui image translation by psymon2 et al into a single archive. (hopefully that makes it easier for people who had trouble installing the translation.)

Installation:
- extract UITranslation.v0.16.0-HoneySelect.7z into your HS game folder. (If you haven't done so already.)
- extract HoneySelect-Translation.08-10-16.7z into your HS game folder. (note: if you already had an older translation installed, it might be best to delete the Plugins\UITranslation folder before extracting, so that obsolete translation files get removed.)

They're already using colliders in HS, but only in a few places and on a quite basic level.
It's like they started using them and suddenly though "Well, this is cool but we'd actually have to put work into it compared to our asset usual copy & paste job, so let's not do this". Same goes for CM3D2.

So yeah, I guess I'm not expecting it in any games from Illusion or KISS anytime soon, but I'm quite sure we'll see some random doujin game with working colliders / physics in the next five years, especially once devs start using Unity 5.

I find it hard to compare it to HS since it's pretty different. The obvious thing being the girls in HS look more realistic. I would compare it more to AA since they have similar looking models but Miconisomi rinkan's models look miles better imo and for fucking once, Rinkan actually has decent feet models unlike AA, CM3D2 and a bunch of other 3D hentai games.

HS and AA has a huge pro over rinkan for having great customization but if we're talking about h scenes. I don't think I can say much about HS since I haven't really played it that much myself but comparing AA to rinkan. Rinkan is the clear winner. I found AA's h scenes to be really repetitive and boring but when it comes to Rinkan. I keep wanting more and more. It's really incredible that you can see great details and effort they put in small things like, the cum dripping slowly on the body and how well they do creampies. It's rather sad that a small indie team like Miconisomi can put better work than a big company like illusion. You can probably see huge potential if they were the size of illusion.

There is nothing wrong with the style of the character, it's mostly the environment that has been ignored by the creator. I don't see anything wrong with the character though her nose' sharpness is rather noticeable and her hands are too small.

Honestly, Illusion games could be top notch if they either merged the teams at the cost of a slower release cycle, or got better management to circumvent the problems outlined above; of the two solutions I think the first is the best, putting more time in development is far from a bad thing and considering how much their games have suffered from the short development cycle it's not as if we'd be missing out on much

I tried CM3D2, SBPR and HS in VR and they all played like shit. Don't get me wrong, the experience to be in it is great, especially with CM3D2 because they didn't fuck up the FOV settings. The main problem is that the games aren't build with VR in mind and the feature is added afterwards. It even misses some crucial things such as 1st person view and simple repositioning. When you change sex positions the characters sometimes move around so much you'll end up staring at the inside of your skull at best and with your own body positioned 30 feet away at its worst. It takes you out of the experience immediately. The meshes and shaders aren't created with VR in mind either so expect 3 fps and grey ayy lmao's.

Besides all of that you'll need 3rd party mods to get VR working for the Vive, by default they only support the Rift.

My advice is to wait for the next generation of headsets that will get rid of the borders and increases the resolution. Pray Illusion and Kiss don't fuck it up again and actually learn something from all of this.

Vive and Rift have 1080 resolution (per eye?) iirc but wouldn't stretching it across such a wide FOV (relative to a 24'' monitor), a huge chunk of your view, make everything essentially look like its 240p or 360p youtube video? On the other hand, I have watched some VR streamers and they appear to be able to read small text from a "distance" in games and programs like virtual desktop, if they can read text, surely it can't be that blurry/pixelated

I know that waiting for second gen is smarter because game engines and programmers and middleware/third party tools and the hardware itself (including GPUs) will catch up and there's always issues with first gen since companies rush to market (eg default control for Rift being xbox controller instead of touch controls), but dammit I want it now

Resolution is 1080x1200, it doesn't look that bad but some developers have problems with anti-aliasing and shaders. Illusion uses Unity which already provides the necessary anti-aliasing for VR but the shaders don't always translate that well. I didn't have problems reading text in HS but I tried to play Elite Dangerous once and my eyes started bleeding when trying to read the text.

It all depends on the developer and the engine they use.
