Im all fro story driven games but they could have at least put a couple of optional mini dungeons in between to mess around in.

Although this is my fist persona game and im originally and SMT anon so im use to just going thru main dungeons and side dungeons to get my rocks off :)

Thtas my first complaint about this game.

They need to add some side dungeons to persona 6 if there ever is one.

You can barely enjoy the gameplay without having to sit thru 30 minutes of text conversations before shit happens.

LOL i noticed and now im starting to see where the SMT Vs Persona mentality comes from.

Persona 5 has some pretty awesome mechanics and ideas( the whole thief's and stealing aspect) and it feels like you don't get to truly enjoy it that much because the dungeons are tied to the story and it prevents you from doing so.

Where as in SMT you are free to explore and mess around as you please.

Persona,while fun, is very restrictive and SMT is a bit simpler and not as interesting as personas game play mechanics, but it makes up for it with its freedom.

I think side dungeons would be great additions to the persona series

I find it funny on how MC and the party members just don't give a shit about Goro death. With Persona I expected some corny dialogue of sadness over him despite them not ever really trusting him in the first place. He was literally treated as an after-thought in which MC and his friends just move on enjoying their lives without him interfering with it anymore.

You can do everything in Persona 5 that you can in a standard smt game and more( sneaking around areas and stealing shit looking for treasure,) while in smt its just standard turn based battles.

Persona 5 adds it own flavor to the mix which gives it much more fun potential than a regular SMT game and i say this as a huge smt lover.

My best piece of advice for you is to not listen to MTwiki for anything P5 related (or really anything else except persona/demon stats), especially when the game isn't out in English.

Can someone remembered what was revealed with P5 with the promotional materials?
All I remember is 2012/13 we get teaser, we get PV 01 Feb '15, PV 02 Juneish along with Yusuke being revealed before TGS, PV 03 with Haru, Makoto, Futaba and the personas shown with Famitsu. Some gameplay with E3 '16, we got 30mins of gameplay during summer then Goro revealed as party member.
Anything more specific? It feels so long ago.

I never played the finale but i loved 4 on the 3ds and it was hella fun and soaked up a lot of my time.

How come there's no Lanvenza boss fight in NG+ or NG++? The twins are strong, but Lavenza is the twins fused and at her real power, it could've made an interesting fight. Make it so you're forced to go alone like Elizabeth too.
I'm kinda disappointed there isn't much to do in NG+, there aren't even new or special mementos quests either which is something I thought would happen.
