No. I just saw that part on Youtube, and from what I saw, no one actually said anything about him "erasing himself from everyone's memories". Mind you, I didn't watch the whole thing, so it's possible that I missed something. But when he entered the Master Unit and talked to Amane, neither of them said anything about that.

Ragna personally erased Noel and Jin's memories of him after hugging them and giving them a last pep talk. He also erased Rachel's memories of him after their hug.

How to unlock unlimited characters? Also, I tried playing my buddy earlier and Susanoo was locked, I'm assuming he has to finish the story first?

That's because he erased his own existance. He doesn't exist in the world, therefor nobody can remember him. This isn't some personal thing, it was just straight-up necessary for him to enter the Master Unit.

Well, to be fair, the epilogue is fairly brief.

In any case, you'll need to refer me to the part where they explicitly state that entering the Master Unit in itself erases everyone's memories of him. I only saw the last part, and all I got out of it was that whenever Ragna personally defeated someone, he also erased their memories of him, unless they died. Ragna personally erased his memory from Rachel, Noel and Jin, and I'm also assuming that he erased it from Lambda as well.

He's not the one who defeat Nu, though, so her memories of him may be intact, I dunno. I didn't see all of that.

So I downloaded CF on Hong Kong PSN. It downloaded really fast, about 15 minutes but I I don't think it downloaded the whole game. When I click on training mode or lobbies it sits in a constant loading screen.

Meanwhile, Naoto is completely lost inside the city. He can travel through the Boundary, but he can't control where he ends up, so he's just been bouncing around worlds randomly looking for "her". The first person he bumps into is Celica, who is also lost and thinks she's in Ikaruga. Naoto asks Celica where he is, but she doesn't know either. He then asks if she's seen someone who matches "her" description, and Celica says that she has indeed! In fact, she's looking for "her" as well! Naoto is overjoyed.

Back in NOL HQ, Noel leads Hazama to the prison cells. After trading insults with Ragna, Hazama says that he's there to interrogate him. Ragna says that it's useless since he doesn't remember anything, and Noel latches on that, saying that if he really is amnesiac, he could be innocent. Hazama tells her to be quiet, and continues asking Ragna about his memories. Ragna realizes that Hazama knows all about him, and he angrily demands that Hazama tell him who he is. Hazama ignores him and wraps him in Ouroboros, repeatedly asking him where and when his right arm became the Azure Grimoire. Ragna starts to remember the day that the church was attacked and starts freaking out. Hazama tries to continue to trigger his memories with Terumi, Saya, and Jin's names, but Ragna starts to resist. Before anything can continue, the NOL HQ is attacked by an unnamed intruder. Hazama is forced to leave, but not before mentioning that the "established harmony" is unchanged. Rachel, from the cell next door, says that "he" has come, just like how "this" always happens.

As the attack on the base continues, the power goes out in the cells momentarily, and when they return, Ragna's restraints have been powered off. He breaks out of his cell, and lets Rachel out of her's as well. He leaves to follow Noel, because he has a feeling that she shouldn't be left alone. After he leaves, Rachel says that he's the last hope in the world, and she'll watch over him till the end. Up above in HQ, Hazama laughs and says that hope could never come out of someone like Ragna. Terumi however, is irritated because there's something that doesn't seem right.

Meanwhile, Tsubaki takes temporary charge of the emergency, because Kagura had left earlier on an airship and is now rushing back. According to reports, 40% of the NOL soldiers have already been decimated, yet there are no deaths. The intruder is heading straight for the Cauldron, and some of the soldiers are saying that it was Hakumen. Tsubaki can't believe it, but she and the remaining soldiers who can use binding ars head down.

At the lower levels of the NOL branch, Hakumen is blowing soldiers away like fodder. Noel, who is also in the area looking for the intruder, falls through a crumbling floor. Ragna by chance ends up right at the heart of the Cauldron, and sees Noel on the floor. He runs to check on her, but is stopped by Hakumen.

Ragna gets agitated by Hakumen's presence, due to his subconscious memories, and prepares to fight him. However, within his mind, another Hakumen starts to speak to him, saying that he will trace Ragna's memories, and for him to show his true power. In "reality," the first Hakumen asks him what is wrong, and engages him in combat. Ragna eventually is able to start to fight back, and his Azure Grimoire finally activates. As the two fight, Noel wakes up, but before she can say anything, the Cauldron starts to beat, releasing Nu.

Nu begins to activate, and sets her target on Noel. Noel recognizes Nu, and begins to shave. Inside her mind, you can hear her scream while multiple images flash through. Noel reverts to her Murakumo programming, and the two Murakumos go through an exact duplicate of the conversation they had in CT before starting to fight each other.

Hazama, who's watching over the proceedings, says to Terumi that it seems everything is going as he had predicted. Terumi watches, but starts to curse, because something is going off course. Noel ends up beating Nu. She's about to kill her, until she suddenly snaps out of her Murakumo mode. She doesn't want to fight Nu anymore, saying that she's just a "normal" girl who wants a normal life. Nu continues to attack, and corners Noel. Before Nu can finish Noel off, Ragna saves her and deflects the sword petals. Apparently, Hakumen just randomly disappeared. Nu greets Ragna lovingly, saying that this is their fourth time. Ragna corrects her, saying that it's the third, but then realizes that he doesn't know what he's saying. More importantly, he realizes that Nu called him "Ragna," and finally learns his name again.

Nu says that she can't wait for them to kill each other again, and Ragna gets another flash of memories. He says that he's not here to kill her, he's here to save her. Hearing this, Nu begins to mutter that he's being boring over and over. She starts to rant about how humans are selfish and imperfect, and that she would know this best, since she was created as a weapon. She accuses Ragna of denying her, even when they are both the same. Ragna says that he isn't denying her, and that everything she said is just a cry out for help. Nu freezes, and asks who Ragna really is. Ragna says it doesn't matter, and tells her to fight him with all her strength. He'll save her no matter what.

Summary Cont.

As the two fight, Ragna starts to win, and Hazama says that this isn't what Terumi said would happen. Rachel silently watches on as well. Defeated, Nu can't believe that Ragna is so strong, and becomes even more confused when Ragna offers her his hand. Ragna says that he can't just leave her alone. Nu starts to speak with overlapping voices that include Noel and herself, asking him why he wants to save her, and what his desire is. Suddenly, all of space starts to warp. Time freezes, and Nine speaks, saying that she can't believe he's trying to save her again. Reality shatters into pieces, and Ragna is brought into the Phantom Field.

Nine belittles Ragna, saying that there's no way you can just save someone by acting nice to them. Ragna manages to remember Nine's name, and asks what she's doing here. Nine remarks that it's impressive for him to be regaining his memories, when he's not even qualified to be in this world. Ragna asks what that means, but Nine brushes off his questions and tells him that it's too bad for him that she's found him, because she intends to eliminate him.

Ragna gives his best in the fight, but he can't match up to Nine. While he tries to use a special, Nine tells him that he's too slow and literally teleports behind him, and knocks him down with a spell. Apparently, Ragna and Jin are the children of what Relius refers to as [No.5]. Relius didn't create [No.5], but rather someone else did using Relius' research as a base. Apparently, even Relius doesn't really know much about [No.5], as he states that there were many mysteries surrounding her.

According to Relius, hundreds of years before the current era, there was a girl who had the same form as that of the vessel that Izanami was using. She was able to amplify seithr infinitely, and she was able to consume souls to strengthen herself. She was defeated by her "older brother". [No.5] was a reproduction of that girl. Sound familiar?

He was one of the big bads, but not as the "final boss". Even when he got his physical form back in CP, he still wasn't the boss, in fact getting his physical form was a damn big downside to him. No, that's not why Ragna did it.

Basically, he was the source, the reason for the world's nightmare. He was the Centralfiction, God's Dream. He wanted the world to wake up from its nightmare, and to that end, he needed to get rid of the the source of that nightmare.

Once you wake up, a nightmare is just an illusion. It's better to forget a nightmare. From Ragna's perspective, he was the chain that was holding the world back.
