Well it's not like there is much else to be excited about as far as legacy goes at the moment, so it doesn't really hurt.
It could be they got a lawyer that advised them to start throwing letters in the trash. It could be that they are planning on sharing their DB, it could be re-opening. It's intentionally vague but it does make it sound like they think blizz has something planned - and if not they'll do "something".

OR someone needs to buy a new graphics card and wants to sell t-shirts.

It's interesting in that this blizzcon doesn't really have a lot to announce, so if any time was the right time (outside of when official servers "for real" dying) this would be it. Legacy servers have always been more of a "when" rather than "if", but I could be 100% wrong.

2h isn't that great until windfury but is still good, also good to switch to 1h and shield vs melee. generally while leveling you want to use the best weapon you can no matter what, really.
you can also go down to flurry and level elemental, using a fast 1h and flametongue.

tldr: both is fine depending on what you're fighting and depending what weapons you end up with

Right now K2 is the best we have.

There's Crestfall in development, but there's no release date on that and could be well over a year. Even then, we don't know if it'll be good.

People are going on about Nost reopening if Blizzard doesn't announce legacy servers at Blizzcon. Again, this is a huge IF and probably won't happen.

QUESTION

I have an addon which notifies me whenever my character's name is written ("Yo, Anonchar, stop fucking my sister") or when it comes up when I /roll (Anonchar rolled 99/100).
The addon shows this in a big black box at the center of my screen and stays there for several seconds.
I don't remember which addon this is and wonder if someone perhaps knows?
