Even lower level of guilds need TONS of rep, and resources and quests to be done from EACH member. And then there are these guild-only quests and guild-only dungeons, raids even, GvG, sieges, open world boss competition, literally everything you do is not efficient and some impossible even as solo or group of five-six like-minded individuals.
I don't like the cancer from bnsg which is part of the reason I dropped that game, but I see no exit out of this. We already have a guy that causes severe shitposting with a simple mere presence.
Sure we can just kick toxic faggots and put them on guild-wide KoS list, and this is probably the best thing to do, for I will always value good lads who want to play videogames in healthy community over shitposting twats, and it is necessary to keep said community n good condition, but... we don't even know how many of us will make it into game.

At some point we'll have to invite in normies, or starve from content, because almost all high level content is guild based.

Well I was considering playing as loli simply because they are tiny and thus harder to read animations, which is significant advantage against middle level opponents. But as I said, their faces suck. Sure with some amount of tweaking there can be something, but we don't have forehead sliders.

I know. I only solo play outside of /vg/ players so I ended up playing Revolution alone and it's bullshit.

All dungeons except one are team based and I'm not even allowed into one of the main daily instances because it requires two people to enter. RO is super unfriendly to solo players.

More than likely Occultist due to how much I enjoy their gameplay and such. Gunslinger isn't too bad either, but I just like how much mobility Occultist has with switching from Damage to Healing and so on. I know the whole bit about them not being the best according to the one who has been posted quite a bit on those Revelation forums, but I'm also wondering if it's just another matter of "This is the top so and so for these bits, all others need not apply" with how some top of the line raid guilds approach what classes they bring.

Either way, both Gunslinger and Occultist have been the most fun for me to play so far in the Chinese version, so that at least narrows down choices.

Think of it from this point, gearing should have meaning. What strictly PVE or RvR games lack, is this sense of fulfilment, you don't just grind shit for the sake of grinding same shit even faster, you grind shit to grind shit faster AND wreck faces of real twats better. That's the difference in my opinion between fun stuff. Ultimately grind mill without changing and fluid intertwined purpose like "realpolitik" or RMT(yes, some people do play games to get money, this is questionable, but undeniable) or simple skirmishes is pointless. We play to get emotions and preferrably as strong as possible, and at some point developer's ability to deliver emotions via scripted content fails and we lose this thingy we call fun. I think it explains why people still play free-for-all games with actual stuff happenning, because people themselves are engine that drives their mutual fun, and as long as they are, game might be shit as fuck - but you will have emotions from it and therefore, get what you want.

But I'm first and for most a solo player.

Being forced to party and rely on others dosen't appeal to me. Things like not being allowed to progress (Right now in RO I can't even play the Story since it has a lvl reqirment but I can only run one Dungeon to level and can only enter three times a day.) because I don't have a party is bullshit.

Revelation focuses on Role Play and social features too, so I expect there to be RP Guilds for that sort of thing. But there are also people who just want to play the game. To balance this there should be two /revog/ Guilds, one for RP and the other one for anything gameplay related. Drama will still exist, though, since people like to bring whatever drama there is in-game into the thread.

Thanks to the two anons that gave me tips for ranking up Windmill. The Enemy Behind mission and tip for ranking up Combat Mastery to make enemies seem weaker was great.

Got 7-5 from Shadow Missions, then 5-1 from the Snack Tent. The Gummy Bears were Boss level, then I ranked enough skills to make the Gingerbread people to Strong.

SWGemu is similar in that most everyone there has several accounts and even when you go to visit a comfy player city you find that everyone there is afk botting.
