To be fair, a world with magic and monsters seem much more interesting than the current world that we live in. >you can simply choose not to buy an episode if you don't care about the specific protagonist

Some people I know tried the Enhanced Edition mod and liked it, keep in mind it is not exactly finished nor is the author a guy that helps people in a "nice" way.

But the modkit that was released is so limited and shit you can't really expect a real "overhaul" mod at all.

They have it now that each player draws two cards in the second round and one card in the last round with having characters that have "spy" abilities to draw even more cards, basically what took 6 minutes for a match be over in W3 gwent now takes double that in standalone, Gwent does not really shine in prolonged matches.

The art is awesome, the HUD is dogshit, the factions are balanced though monsters have the most options available, it's a mixed bag for me, considering there will be a lower age rating for the game so all the swearing will be cut, so I doubt the campaigns will be that good at all.

To each their own. Witcher 3 was probably the best game made since Portal 2. B&W wasn't perfect, but it's hard to look as awesome when the main quest was already the best game in half a decade.

For what it is I thought B&W was simply divine. I enjoyed every moment with Regis and Annarietta. Even the short fables section was pretty awesome, and saving Syanna was a fitting way to end Geralt's adventures.

That last night in the graveyard with Regis, though... I have to admit I think I felt a little rain on my cheek.
