Just won a 2v3, 2 rounds with a dced 3rd.
Opponenets were overgraded of us by 2.

They did play it nice though, the 3rd round (2nd round a bit too, they all jumped the DCed guy), and their ashka went alone to kill our DC while we 2v2ed.
Managed to kill their Rook soon after ashka joined the fight.

Then it ended up a sirius vs lucie 1v1, where he had like 150hp more than me. Still managed to win.
Blessed panic.

How do I know if I'm getting carried or not?

Playing Lucie in 3v3, and I'm climbing pretty fast.
However, when I tried to play DPS I sucked pretty bad.

The art style does make the game more approachable and enjoyable, definitely draws in the dota/league/blizzard games crowd.

BLC was a serious competitive game when e-sports were just starting to bubble, streaming wasn't as popular and most people didn't like competitive gaming. Wasn't it something like only 10 percent of WoW players played arena? Well BLC was based on WoW arena and that was the audience BLC was aiming for so there was not a lot of players to populate the game.

So fast forward to 2016, now we have bigger audiences, competitive games and e-sports are very popular and profitable and former BLC players are popular streamers and pro-gamers. Hafu won Dreamhack for BLC and became a popular streamer afterwards (she was also pulled from the WoW arena crowd). Zai became a famous Dota pro-player, he played BLC and lives 30 minutes from the Stunlock studio. Those are just the two that I know of, and they pulled in a lot of viewers. BLC was a darling, dream game, we loved that game with a passion, so it's very exciting to have it be revived as Battlerite.

Lucie is in S tier because on most maps she simply has a piss easy to run away. She also has the most reliable and overpowered CC in the game, to getting caught off guard should never be a problem for a Lucie player. She is also the only healer who, if played properly, CAN NOT LOSE to double DPS. Assuming equal skill its impossible for a Lucie team to lose to a double DPS team no matter the composition.

The reason why there are 4 chars I throw into S tier in 3s is because they are basically interchangeable and have no bad matchups whatsoever. Taya and Jade are completely fucking retarded in 3s and resident sleeper overpowered, while Poloma and Freya (in their current forms) are almost mandatory to get anywhere in 3s (last 3s tournament had 4 Freya and 4 Polomas in Top4 if I recall right).

Is Croak shit now? I keep out damaging him as Lucie even when a double DPS comp is on my dick constantly.

I've gotten mechanically better with the champions I play but half of my games I shit on the other team and the other half I get shit on. You have to remember that after a certain point, just playing the game isn't enough to improve. You have to actively think about what plays you're making, what plays the enemy is making, and how you're going to win. Depending on your grade, that's anything from skillshot percentage to learning to chain CC with randoms and perfect your positioning.

You might watch streams of higher rater players to see what they're doing. Most of them, because the game is in it's infancy, don't have huge followings, so they talk to their viewers and answer questions often.

I'm not telling him to ask them what he's doing wrong, but he can watch them play, see how they think and what they do to close out games/what they do in each situation, and adapt it to his own play. There's questions you can ask high level players without them being there to hold your hand like a child through every decision you make in game.

Some people have no fucking idea what they're doing wrong, and aren't very capable at self review. They'll see themselves with a high score and that they hit all of their panics on Lucie, but not realize they could have petrified the full HP Pearl to stop her from healing the 20% HP Ashka. Not everything is solved by replays when you lack fundamentals, which is why it depends on how skilled he is at the game in the first place.

9/10 games people are mouth raping each other in chat. I played Pomp/Poloma to Grade 14 (yeah, cuz she was easy) and decided it was about time to learn the all the other classes.
