I never knew how bad the descend rush was for dark teams with all those dark absorbs and resists. The spawns in the second rush don't feel any different from the ones in the first.

I'm pretty sure I lucked out with my spawns in this run though by getting Hel, LIzanami, Medjedra, base evo Athena, Awoken Dios etc. In my two failed runs, I got two Z8s, Sopdet, consecutive LXuanzangs, grimoires and ult Goemon.

Horribly outdated is somehow a drastic understatement. They make the PADZ crap look good. At least Anima Dragon and Cursed Dragon are good coop leaders and Avalon Drake is a good sub, and if you count it as part of those Apocalypse is a top Myr sub. The PADBT golds are the king and queen of troll golds.
The BETTER one of the two is complete and utter garbage except as a very marginal SI candidate (50% damage reduction for 1 turn + change dark and heart to water on 11 CD).

The worse one of the two is a worse LMeta. 7 turn CD max for 7x RCV heal + 2 turn bind removal. LMeta's active is 8x RCV heal and 3 turn bind removal on a 4 turn CD active. AND it lacks a bind removal awakening (something LMeta itself got right).

Remember that we're comparing her to fucking LMeta and LMeta is drastically better. I have no words for this.

Hell, even Zeta Hydra at least is good for SI purposes and Berserker Z was for a good while actually wanted; the only silvers even remotely worth a damn now are the ones with Minerva and Artemis's actives for SI purposes. And I'm being nice and counting Quick Bomb here where by all measures of sanity I shouldn't.
