Basically what the other anon said but one thing to note for Ghost Rider is that he's one of the 3 characters in the game where you have to go All Attack instead of Energy/Physical.

For whatever reason, his Penance Stare attack has a damage cap that scales off of GR's physical attack despite every other move of his going off of his energy attack.

Besides looking cooler, the 1* goes from a straight line to an AoE attack, and the 6* also gets an added car. Coupled with his T2, it makes for insane damage, i tried it on BD with a Kingpin lead for survivability, and it took him 10 seconds to take that orange gorilla to 2nd phase.

It's definitely a must if you like GR.

GR uniform is kind telling of how NB picks and chooses what they want a new char for and a new uni.

Like Destroyer and Doomstroyer, Doom is really in the suit and should be a new char, but they can't really justify it because they can't think of new skills.

New GR uniform is really Undead G-Man. He isn't Johnny Blaze. This isn't like Bullseye from 1872. Hell, we can have Cowboy Steve Rogers and it'd be kosher. I digress, G-Man isn't Blaze with a new moniker (like Hank Pym being called Giant Man, Ant-Man or Yellowjacket [which he should have unis for already goddamn it]), again telling me they can't think of new ways to have hellfire and chains skills.

That's disappointing on many levels. They're skirting the issue of same mind same char by naming it after an arc rather than giving the uni it's proper name of Undead G-Man, because that would mean it'd actually have to be a new char. This also means we probably won't get Danny Ketch because the bastards can't think of new skills and can't have him as a uniform because that'd be bullshit.

Pasting some thoughts I wrote for a thread on the MFF subreddit last night about this exact topic

Inhumans Attilan Rising was a Secret Wars book. Other SW unis didn't follow the same rule. SW played with the idea of alternate realities, and so, I think the rules can be bent a little when dealing with SW unis.
It makes sense for characters who weren't actual characters per se, such as 2099 BW and 2099 Cap, to be added as uniforms and not new characters. Although Roberta did then go on to become a recurring character in Miguel's ongoing - this was probably unforeseen. But then Undead G-Man was introduced BEFORE Attilan Rising, in a GR book in 2009.

What I'm saying is: the SW unis who aren't technically the same character, could be used as uniforms, as it'd be pointless to add them as unique characters. Look at Undead G-Man - and I mean no offense to all the die hard fans of him out there... - but is he really a character that should be introduced as a fresh new character? Personally, I know nothing about him. I couldn't find much info about him online. He only appeared in a handful of issues from what I could come across. There's also the idea that Undead G-Man is possessed by the same spirit that grants Johnny Blaze his powers, and in that sense, I guess it'd make sense. Who knows. I think context for each case of 'new character or new uni' is important.

I did see some arguments in another topic about whether Anti-Venom should be a new character or uniform. My opinion? A uniform for current Venom (Eddie Brock).

No. Zarathos was bonded to Johnny because Mephisto wanted to fuck with the Kale/Blaze family. Johnny isn't a true GR in the sense of the lore from Danny Ketch and Noble Kale. Noble Kale is the one meant to grant the Blaze/Ketch/Kale family their power. Johnny as the oldest was meant to bond with Kale. B: Some characters are better than others.

There simply is, because NM is terrible at balancing. There will always be powercreep. Not every combat is built the same, other otherwise we'd see different characters in TL, BW. Take out BO and there'd be diversity. It used to be whomever can counter the meme with another meme. Now it's whomever timing T2 Sharon's moves against other T2 Sharons.

C: Some characters are better at one mode over another.

Some are better for TL or AB or BO. Right now characters are measured against BO, if they can one-shot them then they're amazing. Otherwise see my next point.

D: Some chars are better for support/leadership/a specific move because otherwise they're not that great.

WW alone couldn't do shit, but tack on IF and Daisy and you've got a good team. Sif alone can't do anything. That's like saying why can't Elektra counter Sharon Rogers. or any Blast for that matter. BECAUSE SHE SUCKS. Unless a uniform and T2 balances her out, she otherwise will always be terrible. NM won't balance these issues, because they'd rather create a meta narrative that suits their purposes. I remember when Hulkbuster was thrown at people because it was in AoU but he sucked, there were better chars and UniVision was a must because he was universal and could fuck people up. Now it's reversed. Have your faves, but know there are other characters that do the job better.

When I came back from a long break thanks to my tablet going down the shitter, I came back to world boss mode and Infinity Thanos

The first day I tried to take on Black Dwarf. I only got about 10k health out of him even though I thought I had a "good" rooster with a fully maxed Loki and Ronan

I was scared for a while and didn't try to fight another world boss for about 3 weeks. Then, I made research about what characters were good in world boss mode, what kind of strikers should I get, what ISO sets were better on them and how to build up my cards

Past week I was finally able to 5/5 every world boss except both Thanos forms. To this day I can't even scratch IThanos. Do I complain? Nope, I know that in some months I will be able to 5/5 him

For me, the fun of this game is on building up the characters you love and getting them to be able to have a part in the most incredibly hard game modes

I couldn't get Team Pym to be a world boss killer outside of Ant-Man, but I still used them as strikers and allies. Today they were buffed and I'm extremely happy because my investment paid off

So stop being fucking dickwads and learn to enjoy this game instead of waiting to be able to advance on every game mode the moment it drops
