At step 3 section IV of plailect giude i updated my O3DS directly from the setting and got to 11.1.something.
After booting with Hourglass9 and triyng to restore SysNAND this happens.
I'm pretty sure the nandmin.bin filesize is correct.

I have my N3DS XL on stock firmware 11.0, and my N3DS on A9LH hacked firmware 11.1.

I've been interested in hacking the N3DS XL by doing the DSiWare downgrade, but this would unfortunately mean losing out on my StreetPass Mii Plaza, Mii Maker and all other System Saves.

However, I asked on GBATemp and apparently it's actually viable to transfer a stock system to a hacked system.

Can anyone confirm this would work?

>2. Transfer N3DS XL to hacked N3DS, set up hacks including buying Fieldrunners with public.sav exploit
>3. As safety, perform NAND backup on N3DS again.

Some games won't fit on a 4GB at all. 90% or so are 3GB or lower though.
There are 2 games over 8GB. One can't be dumped (God eater), the other is online only, gets weekly updates, and is free to play anyway (PSO2).

So 16GB is the safe option at the moment.

But really it depends. If you don't ever take your Vita outside or are using a PSTV, you can stick with a smaller card. Since you'll be near your PC it'll be easy to just swap out games.

If you actually take the thing outside and really need 5+ games, then you'll want to get a bigger one.

So apparently I need to update my Vita firmware to back up my data. I was going to back up my data and switch back to my Japanese account to play Persona 4, but it's not having any of that (what a bullshit system, you can't even back up saves if you aren't up to date). I'm not going to update because though because I want to mod the system eventually. I was going to wait a bit longer to do that, but is there a way to get around that with a modded Vita? I got a 3D Land n3DS bundle and there was an oily substance in the SD slot. the top of the card itself was covered in it.

I ignored it at first but SD operations would sometimes take longer than usual, so I switched the board with another n3DS I had.

Are you sure that there's a working dump of adventures of mana? Are you sure that the one you downloaded is working? What instructions did you follow? Did you try and install a full vpk? Did you use a skeleton vpk? If so, was it vitamin or maidump? If it's a vitamin dump you need to zip both eboot.bin and sce_sys to make a skeleton vpk and that should install the bubble just fine. If it's a maidump you need to rename eboot_origin.bin to eboot.bin and replace to encrypted eboot.bin in the root of your game's folder then you make the skeleton vpk by zipping both eboot.bin and sce_sys, it should work just fine. Can you give us more details of what you've done and tried so far?

Got it from the Reddit board and they all said it was working. They said it had to be a Mai dump. I replaced the eboot with the one in the mai folder then made it into a vpk. I'll try making a skeleton when I get home and see if that works. If it helps, the damn thing gets to 99 percent and then gives me the error.

Sometimes they include dlc on updates and release the dlc as a downloadable key. I don't know what's the case with Don't Starve but it could be that the updates don't include or fix anything important so it should be fine to download the non updated version of the game while you wait for the updates.

Also make sure you have enough space on your memory card. Try moving the skeleton vpk out of the psp save folder and into ux0 and then delete the psp save folder as it usually causes a memory bug if you don't delete it. Also, failed installations go to ux0:/ptmp, make sure there's nothing there eating your memory card. Usually when installations fail to me at 99% is because of either not enough space or the psp save memory bug so I believe this should fix your problem.

Just followed the 3DS guide up to part VI on a 2DS.
Installed HBG, FBI, and luma updater
the next step was to launch HBG from the home menu but I keep getting a red screen.

The only thing I might've fucked up on was when injecting the hs.app. When I was supposed to select FBI_inject_with_banner, I accidentally injected hs.app, then did the proper steps after. I noticed I seem to have two FBIs on the home screen.
