Lulu's Focus stacks with other MAG buffs. That's instant B tier material.

Fang has a double break SB, a dual element SSB, and an imperil for those elements. Dragoon is also outright better than spellblades if you manipulate air time and also includes a strong array of 5* dps skills. Again, at least B/C material.

So I have about 50k mogcakes left after buying the pestle, shield, summon tix and some megacites.. what else should I get? Is the trust moogle really that worth it?

Full Break is your best friend still, even with their resist to the DEF and SPR down ones as cutting their attack power by 30% is useful. This may be the first content that actually requires a tank as 2 of the bosses are stupidly hard physical hitters. I might switch my friend unit from my 312 MAG Exdeath to WoL for this content since a tank is necessary for the Shining Splendor.

We might be getting the 6* Awakenings soon given the power of the enemies in this content.

Not really.

If you have 2x Kefka (I use second one from my friend list), then double Hyperdrive plows through the bosses HP. Physical damage is kinda meh for 2nd/3rd boss, but still required for the stuff before to save resources.
Use Lenna to keep your team up (her LB is also useful against the trash - remember to use that reduce encounter accessory).

Most importantly: Bring a tent along to refresh your party before the final boss. Otherwise, you're pretty much fucked.

I had something like 3 turbo ethers left and all 7 of my Ethers by the end of the Hill Gigas if I wanted to restore my MP. I used the Tent for convenience since I have 48 of them lying around and 2.3 million Gil to get more supplies. Though I killed the blob quickly since I had barraged it to death with CoD/Chizuru/Friend Chizuru with Exdeath plugging away with 312 MAG Firaga and Full Break from WoL.

I suppose I could do another run to beat it without the tent, but dunes for me comes first to level up Terra so that she is ready for her 6* when it drops in global. I have 5 30 energy refills for the Lands of Plenty pro.

I just beat it twice without having to resort to items, and without any whaleshit too. Just this simple Lenna-less party.

All you need to do is pace yourself before you wreck yourself. Here's some pointers:

-Don't waste MP on the regular encounters. Better to soak up that damage and waste two or three curas before the boss fights
-Blob fight is crucial. Go all in with Cheer, Barrage and all you have to ensure you win in two turns. It's also essential you use Provoke with the unit with Golem to ensure it doesn't go ballistic on the MP drain.
-Then on the last two fights all you need to know is that you don't need to use MP skills every single turn. Use cheer only at the beginning of the fight, Full Break only when the effect of the last one has expired, cura only when needed, etc. most of your turns you should be simply attacking normally to build Break gauge.

By following this strategy I was able to manage the beat them handily with a bit of luck (like Ogre not paralyzing my two healers at once, at which point I would have had to use an item). I think that as this event goes along and people try more stuff there will be many more strategies or party configurations to beat this exploration without using items.

I don't have a lot, I just got kinda lucky in really early pulls and the few times I've pulled for synergy.
The only notable things I have at all are Cloud's ssb, Vaan's bsb (10/10 first draw luck here), and a 6* Capella for balthier. Everything else is generic or might as well be for all I'll use the character it belongs too. Dungeon content is easy though, and can be cleared largely just with any 5*, decent hones and rwing shout on occasion.
My ult+ clear rate isn't near 100% though, and even since I got Vaan's bsb my ult clear rate is has only raised to like 80%, so I wouldn't say that I can beat ALL the content.

I think there was an early luck draw or two that I pulled on, but I can't remember exactly when they were.
I drew 3 11x on Vaan's bsb banner for synergy, and before that hasn't drawn at all since one 11x at ssb fest.
Or those two 11x on the Laguna event, I forget which one came last.
Other than that and the free organics I got off the first real single pull I ever did I haven't drawn at all.

Took your advice, the battle went swimmingly when you conserve your MP and build gauge with normal attacks. This fucking helps a lot. Having protectga is nice when you're trying to use less cheer for conserving MP to up the survivability.

And for those worried about breaks, the bosses aren't immune, they just resist breaks individually. Full Break counts as 4 individual breaks, so sooner or later some of those 4 will slip through.

The only exception is the crystals, and those will essentially never be useful as even in jp there aren't enough to proper hones yet.
My main problem with ult+ isn't mitigation, it's lack of damage. I can't finish the fight in a short enough time, so the buffs run out and I just sit there hitting it until curaja casts run out. Damage won't be a problem once the True Hero gets here, as with his sb's he'll be able to output significant damage regardless of the boss. I don't see why I should be taking mythril away from him just for a chance that I'll get something that I'll barely use to get rewards I could have gotten somewhere else anyways.

And even if it were particularly grindy, this is the only weapon with blind in the game, jp included, and it has a pretty good attack for a sword. So yes, it is worth it.

So, I wanted to prove to you all that you suck at BE and went to do a PRO run without using items. First two bosses were a cakewalk, third boss hammered me hard and I ended up using hi-potions for healing. So I didn't manage to make it through without using items. But one tent is all you will need. I might have been able to avoid the tent if my Lenna was leveled enough to have Cheer but she doesn't.
