The most important factor in streaking wins was understanding both enemy and ally AI. I position my allies so that one ally doesn't take the brunt of damage. For example, if I know my demon will move left to get to 3 enemies, I will position it so it will move to a position where it's adjacent to only 2 enemies.

Deaths in demon tend to fall in 3 categories: 1. You get chain CC'd. 2. You constantly summon and dismiss your demons since they are close to dying, but you never use your own abilities. Slowly, your team gets grinded away until you are left alone. 3. You get bursted by an attack you're weak to.

1. is avoided by either having high Vit or a demon with Calm who's either Mind resistant or has high Vit.
2. is avoided by either being Crown of Glory, letting a demon die so you can use your abilities, learning ability sets that do a lot in few turns (e.g. aoe buffs, aoe attacks, aoe heals) so you can safely summon and dismiss demons, and using your consumables.
3. is avoided by being tanky, going for Soul Armor and picking getting a weakness that has few bursty abilities (Ice weakness is the best weakness to have, followed by fire), and giving your healer Draw Wounds and Mending (105 + 150 heal in one turn is great).

"Shadow" is the best font for me as it's the least blocky. The font used here is "classic" though. I don't think I could play it in ascii.

Iron rod Scatter shot is basically a cone AoE that at max spellpower will even shred through ancient liches. It's GOAT/10 though it's still pretty strong at med spellpower having less fragments per zap
Clouds at high power is pretty strong even if you're gambling on getting thunderclouds/acidic fog.
Shadow creatures is pretty broken and even with little spellpower you'll benefit from distract stabs from your allies. Getting many in multiples of 5 mp is best for the most casts per fight.
Rod of inaccuracy is a low acc very high damage bolt rod with a low mp/cast ratio. It's GOAT for exploding low ev monsters well into extended and with either charge dumping or acc boosting things like halo/corona/sunlight it lets you

Ignition is fun. It's basically a bolt of fire that casts fireball on every target it hits meaning you vaporize conga lines. With rF++(+) you can launch it point blank, assuring max stackage. The downside is it suffers pretty horrendously from resistant monsters and the noise is a pain in the dick if you aren't constantly kiting backwards.
Lightning rod increases damage with subsequent casts of its focuses beam rather than a wide spread. It's basically just a recharging bolt wand.
Rod of destruction was a little fun while it was around but it suffered from resists and just not being commonly found to be experienced. removed in 0.18
Rod of swarms was also alright even after the nerfs hit it hard

Well to pull an atheist etc etc etc run without drinking infinite amounts of water I'd need to find a sink and a vault at worst one level below. I can punch puddings for six or so levels even if they stop reproducing after they split so many times and then I can dig/teleport into a vault and try to kill the guard for nutrition.
But it's kind of impossible to do.
