I think I know why they made Angela so strong.

So if they make a commonly available GK super strong, it makes it so, at first many will whale to get her. Then she becomes more common. So then she creates like a barrier of entry. If you can't break her, your striker is simply subpar and you won't be able to win, obviously. So it leads players to whale for Vonchi or William to be able to climb.

He's a very old unit that good a very decent EE and has some of the best stone slots you'll find on a Light unit.
That being said the amount of people with a Muspel with superbs are less than 100 since he was ST fodder forever.
That doesn't mean his skills aren't good for CM. Stictly speaking for CM his kit is better than Sammy's but Sammy has a forward pass and she heals/revives dead units with a pass. She has way more utility and higher base reflex due to having the highest tech in the game.

This area needs rework on stat scaling. The ratio between Attack, Receive Pass, Penetration, Critical, and Critical Damage is to DR, HP, and Critical Resistance needs to be modified then rescaled in such a way that they do not over power each other.

This part requires more study and I haven't done the math yet. But definitely, things like damage increase/critical/critical damage resistance are priorities to be reworked.

No. Making everyone a totem just extinguishes the existence of selfish players.

However, the fact that totems can modify stats on the same level as selfish skills is plain stupid. Just like what I have said already an average 3 selfish unit vs 3 totem unit should be generally equal.

Thus to generalize the equality, each totem should only be able to give 33.33% the value of its equivalent selfish skill for the balance to be:
100% 100% 100% roughly equal to 33.33% 33.33% 33.33%.

Then after this, regarding your concern that everyone should support the striker, CM, and GK, selfish units will have more value due to the simple reason that if properly scaled, a totem stacked line will only have the upper hand on that supported unit but the rest of the units in that line will not have superior advantage against those selfish units, thus, turning them into probable attack points for penetration or to abuse 1v1 against the GK.

A good example of this would be a set of selfish striker-stealer-assist vs a 4man totem back with a GK. With the current setup, the 4man totem will be multiplying stats in the same line of up to 400% what a standard selfish skill can do. Its obviously too much and makes that line overwhelm selfish units rather easily.

Now the same example except with the appropriate scaling. The 4man backline can only multiply the stats in that line by up to roughly 120% of the amount selfish skills can do. Now this is good for the GK itself but this would also mean that those totems used will not be able to overwhelm the selfish units completely and may prove disadvantageous once the 1HP battles start to occur.

With these there will be a trade off between stacking too many totems and using selfish units that you, the player, can manipulate to your liking instead of what BB is currently giving -- use totems or lose.
