Remember in 2015 when /v/ hated tierwhores and insist you main characters you like? Now late 2016 everyone is a proud shameless tierwhore and they brag about the top tiers and their safe high reward low risk options. Let me give an example why this is wrong. Just because Cloud is good at spacing doesn't mean that you are good at spacing. You can be ass at spacing and pick up Cloud and suddenly be amazing because Cloud carries players who can't space. Mario is good at comboing because his combos are 100% guaranteed but you can be ass at comboing because you can't predict or bait habits but Mario carries you like a crutch.

TLDR didn't read :At the end of the day Ganondorf is the only honest character in Smash 4.

Whoever designed this character had to of had some kind of traumatic child hood experience.

Rumor has it the designer of Jigglypuffs moveset in Brawl and Smash 4 was born in a North Korean prison camp and tortured and had to watch his parents shot before his very eyes. He was forced to eat rat feces and rotten rat corpses without the prison guards finding out. He had to sleep on a dirty cement floor covered in human feces with 300 other men. It was a struggle not to starve to death. This lifestyle continued for the next 20 years of his life. meanwhile back in Japan Masahiro Sakurai was designing Brawl and deciding how he should nerf all the characters. He was extremely pissed at Melees Jigglypuff and her b-air so thought of the cruelest way to nerf her was to get a mentally disturbed individual to redesign the character. Sakurai pleaded with the North Korean Government that 1 inmate be temporarily released to make an experimental Smash Bros character. Kim Jong-il agreed and the inmate was released only development period and told to make a character design thus Neo Jigglypuff was born.

Unfortunately these past few weeks for me have been terrible for me, and this has greatly affected all the planning and promotion of "Outer Haven".

I sincerely apologize that I haven't been active these past few weeks, as a result I have to post pone the tournament same time tomorrow (9/16/16 at 7pm PST). This one day delay 45 mins before the tourney is very inexcusable, but I hope you understand that I'm not feeling the best right now.

However, no matter the participation I will go ahead and do the tourney tomorrow with the planned prize as well.

I'm here to help you and I have a good news
if you practice hard enough and don't give up you will be able to handle these match ups no matter how unfair they may seem.

You need to learn how to space I strongly recommend setting your C stick to tilt and keeping tap jump on for the following reasons.

D-tilt and the Back of U-tilt are safe on shield if spaced and both can lead into follow ups percent/character specific

Tap Jump on allows you to do d-tilt run U-smash and d-tilt run Up B much easier


Play patient and defensive. Walk instead of running in like a mad man but running does have its uses run inbetween opponents to mind game them.

Learn to trot dash into Smash attacks

Learn to perfect pivot. Perfect pivot u-tilt gives Mac 40% true combos on fast fallers and is a God like approach option. Perfect pivot F-tilt has crazy range.

Here are simple combos that don't involve perfect pivoting

D-tilt combos into it self on fast fallers and most heavies

Dash attack combos into itself at 0%

The back of u-tilt chains

Down angled F-smash forces a tech chase at mid high percents

U-tilt almost always combos a into Up B

D-tilt Dash attack at 0% to 20% (read DI for Up B at 0%)

D-tilt Side B around 40% to 60% (D-tilt JC Up B if by ledge)

D-tilt JC U-smash at 60% to 80% this kills :D

D-tilt JC Up B at 80% and Up but you can also do this earlier

You can also use D-tilt F-smash to bait airdodges or armor through n-airs since it has alot of super armor frames same goes for baiting airdodges with U-tilt as well.

Little Mac is a defensive character his playstyle revolves around exploiting bad habits and quick reactions. He isn't the one to approach much but there are some exceptions. He earns his wins unlike some characters *coughs Cloud*

Here's some MU advice

Recovery using up close using Side B or just grabbing the ledge but always mix it up. Mac's Up B can break combos like Jab 1 into F-smash
