Problem with Goro being shit is that its predictable and it not particularly amusing or effecting when you realize he's built as an antagonist to the PT from ground up so him being a crazy shit does nothing for them like say Ikutsuki or Adachi did to their respective games. I have no issues with one of your party members being a traitor hell Tales of Abyss pulled it off well mainly because everyone in the cast was a shit one way or the other and added some need friction in between. Atlus just chickened out with this and it could have been an real interesting dynamic.
