I just got kicked from a Heroic as a tank for pulling too fast. Nobody even got below 50% health, I always kept aggro, and I'm pretty sure the healer didn't even use any major cooldowns.
Makes me feel a little better that they'll have to wait half an hour for another tank.

Side note, corruption can also just be a physical thing. Warlock's corruption spell corrupts a target's blood, causing it to boil and generally do nasty magic shit. The corruption we've been talking about is of an entire entity, body and soul.

whats the best build to play a shadow priest in heroics?
Im trying to gear myself for mythics with my guild using a S2M build.
the build itself isnt that bad but Im just getting abuse after abuse because
1) shadow priests just have shit aoe in general and
2) there are some boss fights where I'll get a mechanic wrong and get flown far enough from the boss that I cant use a move in time before dying to the debuff S2M gives me.

1. Your AoE will be shit until balance patch or statement claiming it's meant to be like that. Multidot, on 3 or less targets mind flay, otherwise Sear.
2. Don't get mechanics wrong. If you know you suck at a mechanic, save your Dispersion for when you get bounced during S2M. You don't need to blow it right away to stack VF as you won't lose a second use in the execute phase which is when you should be running on S2M. But generally don't get them wrong which you can do when running S2M since you can cast everything on the move, including getting launched into space on Wrath of Azshara. If you get cc'd and have no Dispersion ready, you're done too, so if you know you fail mechanics save it for that moment. It has 1.5min cd so it's feasible to blow it right at the start to stack the first VF and then have it available for S2M when you, being a fucking shitter, run into a shatter spear orb or get bounced or otherwise cc'd.
3. If this is not enough for you to stop sucking horse cock, either run LotV for 5mans or reroll.

Yeah its miles better than Fury right now. It might get nerfed before the raid drops though. I pretty much chose Warrior for the same reasons, look at a few other classes before you decide though. Both of the warrior dps specs feel like theyre missing something right now.

Being an immortal (ilvl 752) Blood DK in the Dalaran sewers sure makes me nostalgic for the old days before PVP templates in BGs.

I'm actually fairly sad about this.

My job requires me to interact with a lot of people and learn about whatever their project is. After a while of doing it you get really good at telling which ones truly love what they're doing and which ones only care about the money and fame. I mean I've talked to all kinds of people from entertainment and business, usually within a minute I knew which was which.

I've spoke to Metzen for 5ish+ minutes on at least three occasions. Not once did I doubt his passion, the man absolutely loved all the Blizzard franchises and the community around them. They were his heart and soul.

On the other hand I'm glad for him. Reading that message sounds like his family played a big part in the decision. There are a lot of older guys I've talked to who regret not being there as much as they were with their family and to watch their kids grow up. Metzen certainly has the means to do so and live comfortably, so good for him. After 23 years of the same thing he's probably really burned out too. I wonder how long he made the decision. Probably has been thinking about it for a while.
