3 Yamatos, a Zao and a DM and 2 lower tier ships all went middle, it was a shooting gallery as my entire team waited for them.

They where all dead within ~75 seconds of the first Yammys bow crossing the end end of the gap, he died before his superstructure was even visible.

Don't know about him but I really haven't been enjoying them much in higher tiers these days either, especially eternally solo. From T5-8 I still enjoy mine, but I'd take my Zao/Roon out over my Hotel/Iowa any day because I just find them so much more enjoyable to play, I'd wager stuff like the Khabarovsk would be a similar story too.

You're playing against what is known as a human of average intelligence.

You get hit ribbons for impacts against unseen ships, keep shooting where you get hit ribbons.

Even destroyers have a predictable turning radius.

Try changing speed too. But if your enemy has sufficient volume of fire the only choice is to get behind an island.

Too many DD captains assume that they're too smart or maneuverable to be hit by a torpedo.

Then I laugh as I thread their tight spread at 3km, and they couldn't match the trick.

Pretty much, I'm a good goy with lodsa premiums so I don't have any issues with the costs, but goddamn it's just not as fun as the other tiers because it feels like nobody ever wants to do anything. And it's not like I really blame them either, everyone is just looking out for their own safety because they've had too much experience being let down by teammates so everyone just defaults to the lowest risk play style.
Not speaking moonrunes on SEA doesn't help much either.
