Why is Taguel considered bad class? It seems like a good combination of Ninetails and Wolfsnigger in Fates. Or at least the growths of the Awakening subhumans are geared that way. Hard-hitting, accurate, fast, and defensive with only 1 range attacks. Res is a bit lacking. It also has Beastbane to fight against horse-riders too.

I've been using everyone besides Donnel, Frederick, and maybe Kellam. Will most likely drop Ricken too honesty. The unused characters will be grinded later if I feel like it since I do like all the characters in Awakening.

The only incentive to use Vaike is because he's your lone axe user until Cherche. Why would it be better to promote first then Second Seal though?

Olivia will also be using a Second Seal to go Myrmidon. Singing is much less useful in Awakening compared to Fates so I don't really need a Dancer, though I might end her as a Dancer for the novelty of it. But I'm only on chapter 6 though. Cordelia will also be a Mercenary instead.

Frederick can actually stay a useful member of the team thanks to second seals resetting levels.

And for Vaike it'd be better to second seal later since it's less levels on your part(unless you want to grind). If you get him to 20, promote to Warrior at level 10 you can second seal him to Berserker(although you won't get the Barbarian skills), but you'd only be getting Rally Strength and not Counter unless you want to wait to 15. I think really it all depends on what skills you want and what you're gonna end on to decide when to second seal. I also don't remember Awakening all that well so I may be giving you bad advice

If a promoted unit second seals before level 10 they'll only have access to unpromoted classes(so Frederick would have Cav, Knight, and Wyvern Rider) but if they second seal at level 10+ they can change to the promoted options. And internal levels are kept, but Frederick is decent enough to still be useful, at least from my experience.
