I have taken a real liking to Rexxar as a second warrior with the current burst cunts. I'm surprised he isn't more popular right now.

Misha can take an ungodly amount of Punishment, so you simply put her in between Ming/Chromie/Skillshot based champs. You essentially cuck them out of being able to poke effectively. All the while Rexxar is free to cap tributes, and towers. Ming is very effective at just poking the living shit out of your team while you try and cap, Rexxar can deal with her, and remain free to cap.

You can also do a great deal of denial on Shrines, or Eygpt by just parking Misha and running her around to stall them. Rexxar can keep pushing lanes while Misha trolls objective vs 2 heroes. On shrines you can basically say "This cap point is property of Rexxar", take his bird vs. Minions perk and never lose that point.

The trick is once Ming realizes you aren't trying to kill her, but simply cuck her, she's going to try to dive and burst down Rexxar, which she can do very fast, because Rexxar isn't that tanky. Or she will try and re-position away from Misha with ports. You can't just set Misha on her, you have to always have Misha chewing n her tits and not her ass, or being a wall. Sometimes it's better to just keep her between so she can get needed stuns off on other enemies faster.

But New heros that are banned every game and change the entire dynamic of the game with their mere presence are very balanced. And it is a very high skill cap to shoot truck sized bullets that do almost as much as Falstads ult with a low cooldown and a teleport that also has a shield and does damage, and never run out of mana and be healed if anything dies ever. But it's okay because she has a slightly higher hp pool than some assassins, so it's balanced.

Ming isn't OP, you just absolutely must have a direct counter to her at all times.

Fuck I was shit at Microing in SC, but I can process two at once.

I used to play a game called Battle heart on my phone, that had you microing 4 units in live combat. I really like that game, and Rexxar feels like that.

I almost feel he should be classed as a specialist. He's sort of in-between like Xul.

I don't understand the logic between giving a hero mobility AND great damage. Wouldn'y you consider a balanced hero to have more of one than the other, and not both? I'm looking at Lemming and Ballstad, especially Falstad with his retarded map-wide presence.

it's not like that even works if the enemy team has any sort of competent frontline that knows how to peel

anyway, barring that discussion the real reason Ming is OP lies in her kit itself; there's virtually no drawbacks to her
she's got insane damage at both long and close range, both in the form of burst and sustained damage (depending on which ultimate you pick), one of her ultimates is tychus' grenade on steroids and at lvl 20 it effectively becomes a mini-gust, she has one of the best escapes in the game (seeing as how it ignores collision and doesn't require an ally or minion to use properly, all of her abilities cost an astronomically low amount of mana in comparison to their effectiveness and to top it all off she gets resets whenever she kills a hero, as if she needed such a broken passive when her kit is already that strong on its own

this isn't good game design because all you're doing is literally showering a single hero with abilities/qualities that are extremely favorable in almost every situation, and to draw a comparison let's look at the hero from LoL which she's clearly modeled after;
low range, high damage, has to get up close to actually deal any damage and has to consistently take risks in fights to be effective, with the same hook being that hero kills reset reduce her cooldowns greatly

looking at Ming with all of this in mind, how can you not think "hm, actually; maybe they did give her way, way too many tools to work without giving her some kind of faults and she is perhaps a little bit overpowered"

Part of the meta of that game is never allowing your guys to be "ontop" of each other. I played through it like 5 times with different parties. Mage/Mage/Witch/Bard is hard but fun as shit.

I hate that the only games like it are shitty Korean knock offs and that the sequel was nothing like it.

There is a game on ipad called Brutal Streets that is actually really good, except it has a grind/paywall that ruins the difficulty curve half way into the game. But it's fun pushing your skills to the max to push as far into the paywall as possible. With Illidan depends on the Hunt, and is less versatile than flight, but still the global presence it provides can give a huge advantage.

And for Falstad Epic Mount at level 20 is just disgusting.

The trick to Dehaka's skill shots, is to use his movespeed and health to make it not a skill shot at all. Just do it point blank, never try to get them with the tip unless it's a sure thing. His tongue has a weird delay and travel rate.

Specialists are quite good. Zag for lane bullying and vision. Gaz helps when there's a set battle area he can turret up or mercs are important. Xul is nasty in lane rotations and counter to melee. Well, at the highest levels he has more of a point, because Li Ming's win rate rises there and she her pick rate is even higher too.

She's not super strong overall in all leagues, but with ideal team comps, good team work, and great play she has lots of potential.

I think the main thing people fuck up with is putting Rexxar in unnecessary danger. Rexxar really doesn't do that much damage, and you never need to be having Misha and Rexxar hitting the same thing 90% of the time. If you are having Rex and Misha do the same thing you are missing the entire point of Rexxar. (Barring unless you are focusing down a dieing enemy)

In a team fight that is head on, I generally send Misha deep to fuck shit up and focus on what she's doing. Let Rexxar chill and chip away at the tanks or bruisers and mitigate there ability to close gaps with birds and light body blocking if needed.

Play Rexxar as if Misha is a lich and Rexxar is a fragile Hoarcrux. Always be mindful if the enemy team is suddenly able to push into you, if they do the enemy pursuit formation will likely take a straight line, get misha near that straight line, stun 2-3 enemys and prevent a team wipe.

I wouldn't recommend Rexxar to people that want kills and to do big damage. His purpose is to basically be a general nuisance to the enemy team at all time. Which I find fun as shit.

Above all remember that Rexxar has one of THE BEST stuns in the game. Weak only to mosh pit and bad positioning through your own fault.

As the resident silver and worse player of the whole general (because we know that the people at bronze 4 or 5 are just smurfs who threw all the games for the screenshot), I can confirm that at low ranks Li-ming is not that hard.

Wtf is with people picking double tank after the enemy team takes Tychus? This happens constantly in Hero League (even in lower diamond/upper plat), and then the team gets their asses handed to them and points the finger at everything other than Tychus having top hero damage and highest kill count. I swear 75% of the HoTs community have no idea what this hero does. Fucking retards.

He is, sorta, because he requires a comp to work with, unlike other braindead heroes.
If the enemy doesnt realize you literally SHIT damage till 10 as tychus, and maul you down with everything they have, its a win, most of the time, especially if you can stack minigun over 12 secs.
Level 13 helps with his surv, but until then, his only defensive ability is his dash and if you take the dash upgrade at 20, you will lose a fuckton of damage in exchange for more mobility.
Not to mention his range is mediocre, Press the Advantage at 1 can help with that, but than you lose the 25% damage reduction, which is pretty much almost always mandatory to take, 16 also gives you a huge boost with that 5% extra damage on long range but eh ...

His 10 is garbage to a lot of other heroes, like holy fuck, Odin with the channel time has the same problems like before, you either blow that thing and the enemy retreats or you cant get in it fast enough to have impact, you also lose his minigun trait so whatever.
His Laser is okay, but the range and time it takes to deal damage for that thing is hilarious, not to mention it will go down in most AoE.

He is still unbelievable fun and dueling people with minigun up and level 13 is damn satisfying.

Tychus was our second ranged sustain pick, and went against my better judgment since we lacked melee threat. He turned out to be our best ranged player of that game, although making greedy cocky calls that got us wiped. But he did recognize this and was overall pretty smart. He declared GG fat boy to me in pm, but good player. Would play with again.

Our brainy warrior was anything but. He liked to stand in AoE and just spam abilities willy nilly. He demanded I as a support should solo three enemies alone to contest their boss. Then he declared it was game over since I went to a safe lane to push and get xp (and was still back in time to defend the boss).

Zagara missed her calling to be an architect, so instead in this game she was building a swarm or nydus canels. Like freaking everywhere. Not sure if that was a good play or not, but we did have vision on boss. Would play with again.

Kael was okay, died a bit too much for the amount he got done. Would play with again.
