I wish they would add a token character, like a character that can be swapped between different NPCs but keep a generic moveset/hitbox, the projectiles/attacks may look different and for certain characters they could include more detailed voicework, but they would all be functionally the same. Not too be competitive or anything, but just for those people who want certain NPCs to be playable despite them maybe not being important enough to warrant an entire character slot.

Combos feel so damn good in this with most of the people Ive tried so far. Way less rigid and lots of combo paths with little penalty in max damage/meter gain for easier combos. Also feels way easier to do combos compared to previous versions despite changes and relearning combos. First time in a long time I'm having fun relearning BB for a new version. Ever since CS2 update, every version has pissed me off more and more with microdashes and IAD and constant changing of move properties nad prorations.

Just loaded her up. I was never very good at hitting her charge consistently in matches, so dont play her, but I'm hitting level 3 charge every single time I try with her. Her 214a move where she dashes and you follow up with ccb is so much easier to connect than with previous games. Shes a lot easier for me personally to combo with. I hated playing her due to the charge meter on her special moves and she seems fairly straight forward now. Please note that Hibiki's normals have retarded hurtboxes a la Celica.
I got hit by Ragna's 6A while I was on the other side of him during my j.C after a cross-up. The blade has a hurtbox all the way to the edge, it seems.
I've also been hit out of 2C by Ragna's 2B at max range during its recovery, so even the lines drawn from his slashing have hurtboxes apparently.

Do not try to poke with Hibiki. Be right in the face at all times.

Her mixup is only amazing when she gets to setup, 6B is reasonably reactable

She's overall rather mediocre without anything setup, but I agree that 3C is dumb and annoying

Gotta disagree with you here. Her movement speed combined with how many active frames her moves have, j.A and j.B in particular, makes it really annoying to land a hit on her without trading.

On the plus side, I finally figured out why my DPs weren't coming out ever.
It's 'cause it kept reading my inputs as 626. Somehow.
So rather than trying to do forward - quartercircle forward, I'll just do forward - down - downforward in order.
That's gonna take some getting used to.
