Holy fuck dude, you and I friend. Though I tank, so people look to me as the guide and general leader of the pack.

I just started with friends for my first dungeon, and I failed miserably because they made me respec. I quit again for a while then after finishing all the world quests on the 4th day I said fuck it and queued up as a tank for my class order quest. It was the Dalaran hold dungeon I believe and was fairly easy, gave me the confidence I needed to tank. Now whenever I play a DPS I feel the tank is too careful, so I usually switch to a tank spec mid dungeon and take over since I get offered a lot.

But yeah, best thing to do is just queue up and say sorry if you fuck up. It happens to the best of us, and once we get past it, we move onto the better stuff.

Chopped up all the baseline things it had into talent choices, made their damage RNG as fuck because their mastery is literally RNG based. Its also got the problems they reintroduced to Warlocks as a whole after fixing nearly all the issues over the span of 4 expansions.

Destro in MoP(while OP) was a spec that literally every other spec should have been molded around. It had a diverse, powerful and fun toolkit with options, and choices that mattered. They ripped the fun from the class in every possible way.

The irony is when discussing Legion spec changes to all classes they pointed at Destro locks as a template.

Most of the time when I fuck up I either explain how I fucked up and say sorry, which usually gets fixed around the second attempt and if we wipe twice I usually drop out of pure shame.

However prot warrior is fun as hell because you dictate the speed of the dungeon, same with blood, they're both really viable DPS based tanks, but are more of a strain due to you needing a good healer to keep up.

For a Paladin (Which is what I main) it's pretty slow and meticulous in choosing your fights, since you are relying on your group to do the damage for you, while you are just a sustained tank.

Either way, I'd just queue for random dungeon finder and get to know each and every dungeon before doing mythics as a tank. Also you're pretty much these guy's care taker for the instance so you have to be watching out for literally everyone in there.

To be honest I've never had much of a problem with DK getting around, the MUH MOBILITY shit is almost always only really relevant in PvP stuff. Also Acherus is in fact good and cool even after all this time, pun not intended until I realized mid-typing.

tank, absolutely not

its a mid tier melee DPS (behind outlaw, ass, arms) so its unlikely that you will see any havocs in top tier mythic guilds as they will probably only be bringing 4-5 melees. 2 rogues, probably a UH DK and arms warrior to soak up plate gear. it's fringe really, it will basically be between an enh shaman, windwalker monk or havoc DH for that last melee spot and considering how new people are to the class, its unlikely you will see one in the race.

but both are totally fine if you aren't cutting fucking edge progression just like every other spec in the game

If you want aesthetics of a blood and the mobility of a demon hunter your best bet is probably warrior. Blood has little mobility and is what kind of turned me off from it. However, my fun is looking good and topping damage meters all while running dungeons as fast as possible, so blood is for me.

Only thing I dont' really love is how I spike on pulls due to no resources or passive mitigation. Everything else is fucking gravy.

Demon spikes is fucking godlike with proper uptime.

Flame-crash is a joy to use.

The self healing overall is blood-dk tier if played well.

The sigil utility is so fucking good.

The trait to go Meta on soul consumption feels amazing when it procs, literally IM FUCKING INVINCIBLE with frequent uptime.

That low as fuck cooldown magic barrier too.

Easily my favorite tank spec right now, and unlike Warriors its going to stay strong for a good while because its selling boxes.

Warriors are the most fun tanks with a fuck ton of mobility. They are also some of the best tanks right now, although I think bear scales quite a bit better than them.
