I think it'd fit right in with the sonic series honestly. You have Sonic's super speed, Tails' flight, Knuckles' power, Shadows' chaos powers, Silver's telekinesis, etc..
Espio could have that extra oompf to him about being a ninja besides just have a really big shuriken.

When reading Megadrive, and during flashbacks to Classic Sonic, I always end up reading it in Burke's voice.

I mean, all we've seen of Espio ability-wise is Ninjutsu in the physical sense of fighting ability, and high speed and agility, and ninja-based weaponry, wall clingling, standard Sonic skills (spinning), and the Ninja Leaf Swirl allowing him to turn completely invisible. I think Charmy Bee, ability-wise, has been very underdeveloped and unspecified and stuff. I mean, from all the 2 games he's been playable in, (and the addition of Generations), what we know is that Charmy Bee's abilities, powers and skills include:
-"Buzz Dash"
-Thunder Shoot (meaning limited electrokinesis)
-Stinging
-Being Hyperactive
-Being the fastest insect in the world, according to Knuckles' Chaotix
-Creating whirlwinds that can function as platforms
-And, of course, the standard Spin Dash and Homing Attack
...and that's pretty much it. Charmy doesn't really have much of a unique ability, does he? The closest thing to one is his Hyperactivity, which does seem to be supernatural in and of itself, which ties into being the fastest insect in the world in Knuckles' Chaotix.

Sega is my all-time favorite video game company, and would be even if Sonic never existed. 75% of my favorite video games are arcade games, and Sega made several of the best arcade games ever. OutRun is my single favorite video game, and I love everything else from AM2. Genesis is my favorite console as well. While most of Sega's best modern stuff isn't readily available in the US, I play Inital D 8 and Project Diva Arcade at my local game center often.

That's just basic character analysis. And there isn't that much to say about Knux that isn't widely known.
He's been alone his entire life until Eggman/Sonic came along which makes him socially awkward and slow to trust anyone unless it concerns the Master Emerald and its protection. He's straightforward and honest but brash and quite to anger but overall has a good heart.

I knew exactly what kind of game they were going for from the start and I wanted to enjoy it, I did to some extent, but fuck man every thing went bad development wise it looks like and some of it was just flat out unavoidable.
Using Cry 3 despite it being CPU intensive was just a fucking mistake, only Crytek knows how to optimize with it to an extent, not knowing what platform it was for was even worse and is 100% stupid on Sega's part to not tell them, regardless of the Nintendo deal they should have had some communication with them.
