Fights like Fatalis have that looming-danger atmosphere (although the fight isn't that great). Shaggy Mag also captures this well. I wouldn't want an entire game to be like this but some lengthy advanced questline with a super serious theme would be welcomed.

This shit kinda ground my gears throught village and in the rank up blurbs concerning Nakarkos. At least Gogmazios decimated its way to Dundroma in 4U, and even goddamn Ukanlos was made to be responsible for killing the pokke ancestor whose fatalis blade you've been scraping for parts up to that point in FU.
They could have been a bit less lazy with Pokke and Moga and made it so that most unimportant NPCs were gone when the guild ordered the villages evacuated. They can't have the entire village utterly trust the hunter every time.

Has anyone here solo'd MH4U or Gen as a gunner? I'm trying to solo with this weapon, but it's not working out too well. My times are terrible compared to my SA (my main weapon), like nearly 10+ minutes terrible.

Is it even possible to solo the game with Bow or LBG? I can solo nearly anything as a blademaster, but gunner just seems much harder to learn and a lot less rewarding.

Without it. Bludgeoner w/ green is essentially AuM, so +15 raw. Those same blue/white weapons though will likely have element, status, or good raw to beat out Bludgeoner-boosted weapons.

And of course, CritBoost is pretty major in this game in the event that a high raw green sharpness weapon is actually good like the Akantor HH.

Swing into action! Time Attack

Decided to give this TA thing a shot, so I did a monster I was familar with, my run was nowhere near optimal, Got hit once and the room where Kecha spawns is literally one of the worst rooms in monster hunter, if he decides to go to the lowest part of the room you better pray he doesn't start flying like a maniac, and if you're lucky you can kill him where he stands beore he changes area, but for my bad luck he was besides his flying spot when he started limping, so I couldnt finish him off quickly.

Also, I'm sure charred slicers can get a better time, but I don't have a good charm to get WE, critical boost and Razor sharp in one set, so I'm fucked, at least salamanders and blunt are a decent replacement.

Also japs don't have a kecha time registered for DB but fucking prowler has 1:57, so I think DB can get something near that time.
