I generally prefer 50 energy charges, yes. They're more annoying to fight on defending mons as you have to be more watchful and more flexible to use when attacking without much compromise on DPS.

100 energy attacks are quicker to train with though, when you just want to be scoring prestige as quickly as possible.

From my experience, Dodge doesn't prevent damage, it significantly reduces the damage. Typically it's not worth dodging unless the opponent is using a high power attack. You'll cut about 60-80% of the damage from the attack off, which can turn a oneshot (Blizzard, Hyper Beam) into a normal attack's worth of damage. Keep that in mind.

I was level 15 and in my town I've caught almost every Pokemon already, and the game was no longer a challenge so I made a new account so I could feel the excitement of finding that common Pokemon but not in pokedex yet, hitting stops because I want to catch more Pokemon again and not to just exp grind, and fixing a few mistakes made with my last account like wasting my incense and lures, wasting my Rainer trick, transferring my starter, and making new choices like a new starter and a different team! (I went bulbasaur and valor my first time now i wanna go instinct and my starter was pikachu)

One of those lifeless cucks on silphroad did a test with a Pokemon with 0/0/0 iv and the same Pokemon same stats but with 15/15/15 IV and versus the same Pokemon in a gym and its LITERALLY the same thing because it only adds such a small percentage of damage and def that it takes the same amount of time and attacks to beat the same Pokemon. The meter is easier to fill for attackers and the big raw numbers stack with STAB and type advantage better. Its not as good for defending only because of easier dodges and meter weirdness but even then its nearly as good and within 10% dps usually. I prefer the big damage moves because they can do both competently

But it's not that its a third world, travel 2 hours to downtown and you have a stop every block, hell they have a reaaallyy long jogging street Ina straight line with a pokestop every 200 meters and I think it goes about 5km. Its the perfect place to farm IMO, I just wish I lived downtown. Straight line about 5km for eggs, and a stop every few hundred meters for balls and shit and guaranteed spawns because of the amount of stops there.

Man, at that point you still level up at most every two days. You get ultra balls and two incubators at lvl 20, as well as the ability to encounter way stronger pokemon, which is worth the wait desu.
I've been saving up for an evolution spree since I started playing, and finally did it and shot from level 17 up to 20. It was worth it, and I'm just starting to be able to take gyms on my own.

Machokes spawn fairly often around here, was the second Machamp I've seen. First ran from me. Kabutos are rare as fuck for me though. Have only seen 2 Kabuto in the wild so far.

CP isn't the stat that controls a Pokemon, it's just a casualised number based off the Pokemon's attack, defense, and HP stats.

Attack and Defense-wise, it's not that far off from a Vaporeon's but the part where Vaporeon outshines most other Pokemon is in the HP, and that's what gets it a higher CP cap than most other Pokemon. Vaporeon's HP pool is fucking huge in PoGo.

The only way Alakazam can get more CP is if Niantic gives Alakazam more HP but that's not going to happen because Niantic doesn't give a shit.

That's why the only good Pokemon in PoGo are the OUs with generically high stat totals across all six stats (Dragonite, legendaries), or the tanky Pokemon with medium-tier or better damage (Vaporeon, Lapras, Snorlax, Exeggcutor).

Niantic's stat conversion formula from mainline base stats to PoGo stats is fucking retarded and unless they change that formula to account for the fact that some Pokemon are better at physical attacks/defense or special attacks/defense, it's going to be a Vape / Lapras / Snorlax meta until the end of time. Gen 2 won't save it. Your favourite Gen 2 Pokemon will probably be shit.
