On that I am not entirely sure. I would think the pathway needs to be specific as far as having the files in the same place in how it accesses it. One anon explained to put the body variants in the data folder. The tans I grabbed from Tantoo and shoved them into the override folder.

The biggest issue would be which drive the game was installed to. I have mind installed to the C:\
Since there is such variation, I would think the simple thing to do would be sure to add a txt document underscoring the body variant, tan setup and where to find them and either give instructions as to the folder setup, or simply just add them on once you download them yourself.

But anyways...I'll post a guide at some point. I am going to play a class (or two) to see how it rolls. Tootles!

No, you do not get the texture packs. Ever. Any textures you get you would get from the hardlinker, in the folders it tells you to make. The game does textures in an absolutely retarded way normally and would require your texture folder to be hundreds of gigs big to get all your textures. The hard linker does it much more efficiently. It's not complicated and you're a big boy now, you can do this.

Yes, but they replace existing generic hairs with pre-textured ones for rem in this format. The AAU-compatible card is referencing externally hosted hairs outside of the pps so nothing is replaced in the AAU format.

The auto run is the pop-up that comes up to launch when the disk is inserted. You don't run that because it needs to be ran with local and windows obviously doesn't do that automatically. I would recommend "virtual clone drive" as a mounter very lightweight and works good for every nip game, at least for me that is.

Why not just do three layers for the back hair?
Start them off at a flat plane, kind of like stretching them out, then bend the mesh around the body.
When that is done you can split the tips at the end, but not all the way to the base of the hair, so that there's a few locks.
Also the front hair looks like it should be the bottom layer judging by the shadows in the source pic

As long as you make the changes to the .bps when you combine shit, which is what i assume you're doing, then all will be fine.
If you mean rigging several bone nodes to one strand that is okay too, some existing hairs do that.
If you want the purple strands, you're going to need a custom texture.

Is there any way to manage tans other than tantoo? AA2Unlimited says it has "255 tan slots" but I don't know how to use that, and I just have some character specific tans I don't feel warrant taking out the possible tan contours (like just what a face looks like with a scar and so on)

Rape AI was reported to crash all the time, though. The one time it happened to me it crashed as things wouldn't wrap up, but it's not an issue to me because I don't use a lot of characters with the Evil trait. AA2Unlimited boots up every time I run either AA2Play or Edit but I use the overrides more than anything.

That's the thing though, as far as I know AA2U just uses overrides, and to use them you need to replace an existing file. So I don't know how would it "use" 255 tan slots since you'd just replace the bikini texture.

I think it should work just fine. AA2Unlimited boots up all the replacement files straight to your AA2Edit folder, so I don't think there's risk of not finding it if the files are setup in the same root as the source.

I've made some cards already that use AA2U capacities though, if people want to give them a try and see if they work fine I'm all for it. I didn't post to the database because of the drama and shit but if people actually begin to refer to AA2U as something cards need like HEXA that'd be great.

Either way from what I see AA2U is plenty flexible and the overrides didn't break for me once even if I use Reiedit to change AA2U cards. And even snowflaked cards don't lose outfits either after I set them up with overrides.

Okay new problem. Tried running AAU.exe with the translated Edit but I got an error

I THINK I had the same issue, you need to have an actual "AAUnlimited" folder in your AA2Play directory with all the files in it inside said folder. You can put a copy of the EXE in the main folder if you like for ease of running, but the files themselves (especially the DLL) need to be inside "[name of your AA2 Play folder]\AAUnlimited".

That's not really an error, that's just the bootup message asking which program are you running, the game or the maker (it happens when AA2U doesn't recognize the executable filename right off the bat).

You click "Yes" if you're running the game, and "No" if you're running the maker. AA2U will inject itself right afterwards. Hackanon doesn't use the same launcher most of us here use for some reason, but last time he popped here we directed him to it so this message stops popping up.

Also I'm just original anon who posted directions to use AA2U, not hackanon who actually makes it.

It wasn't building so I downloaded VS 2015 and built it but now I get dll injection errors and load library 126 errors. So the net result is no AA2U.

As for the scar, I left it as 04.bmp if you want to set it up through tantoo (that's how I was doing it before making sure AA2U could only override the existing tans).

You can set it using AA2U with that filename regardless, just set an override

trying to run this game on Windows 10. When I go to load my save from windows 7 the game crashes. and on top of that i don't even think my translation mod is working because the main menu is in gook.
