This is what I was thinking.
"Every hero I want" sounds pretty fucking bronze and 3 months of casual play is not that much gold. I suppose the first while you are getting account level gold bonuses, heroes to 5 and a stimpack would be a big boost to income. That shit stops though and you are just grinding game gold and daily quests.
I gets hard to get gold later. Fuck the season rewards being so low.

In solo queue, I'm begining to think that ressurect is the way to go over stasis.

People seem to just let stasis targets die rather than protecting them, and ressurect can at least pick up people if you win the team fight/force them off point long enough.

Stasis is for mitigating telegraphed damage more than being a "Divine Palm'esque" last minute save, or at very least time for you to aquire energy to heal a target you wouldn't have the energy to otherwise.
The channel time is too long for team fight usage on ressurect, the target comes back at half hp so if used on someone out of position without an escape will most likely die again, 3 seconds self root while you channel can make you a massive target. In the late game usually 1 team wipe will be a lost game and ressurecting 1 person will usually not be enough to defend. It has too many downsides for my liking I really don't rate it at all outside of some sort of gimmick use you might pull off once in 50-100 games.

Now, if I have a support quest, despite having tons of supports, I am playing Morales or Lili or Auriel. Because the others are just kind of eh and I don't want to saddle a random QM team with Tass as a solo support.

Uther is still good in the right hands, and I've won many a QM game as Tassadar solo healer. It just very much depends on who you get matched with, if you're decent at Tass and you're team is somewhat intelligent you should be okay.

As an aside, is Tassadar's healing number based on how much damage his shield absorbs or is it from something else?

Uther used to be one of my fave supports but they fucked his Wave of Light build by moving one of the key talents to level 1 so you can't have it along with conjurers pursuit.
I really don't enjoy playing him now, his level 7 talents are desolate, especially if there's zero reason to take cleanse.

Illidan was the only one who took the stun, you'd think his evasion would leave him invincible, but our malfs roots were on point, leaving him very vulnerable. Picking Illidan off made the teamfights very easy for me to rush in and mosh

Whether or not a hero is "top tier" should be a matter of player skill, not the hero itself. Blizzard sucks at balancing because there are heroes who underperform in every way and heroes who are just better at everything and nothing in between.

Legion Commander from dota 2.

Her ultimate allows you to duel enemy heroes, which is essentially a taunt that forces both her and the other character to auto attack each other until the effect ends. If either hero dies during it, the survivor gets a permanent bonus to attack damage.

I have 50 games on them, they are challenging but quite fun.

The main thing is to not put your vikings in too much danger. having them stand behind a tower is okay, just get the XP from minions dying. You want to push the lanes while the objective is going to get an XP lead for your team. Once you get around level 12 you can start grouping with your team more, maybe leaving Erik to soak.

Watch your minimap, it really helps.

I would recommend watching videos of high ranked players with vikings, it can really help you see what is going through your head

Well, as a general rule of thumb, if you can't win any fights ever, you probably won't win the game. Towers tends to have a good number of small skirmishes around the triple altar phases, so you can try to outplay the opponent with positioning and rotations like that.

If anything, towers is the map with the greatest comeback potential, because the objective literally never gives any xp ever.

Generally, you do mostly watch Misha. You don't have to watch Rexxar AS much anymore thanks to the health buff, but if somebody is diving you, this means they're likely out of position, so try to stay close enough to Misha to sick her on whomever comes at you. W stun into Q and leave Misha on them as Rexxar walks away/use Misha to bodyblock them from chasing after Rexxar.

But overall, Rexxar takes experience. If you want to git gud with him, you have to put in the time.

I played Rexxar and I found his control scheme really awkward. The bear has AI or something and sometimes when you try to use the 1 key to make it walk away from enemies and towards you it just keeps attacking instead? So you normally press 1 to control the bear but sometimes at random you have to press D instead because it will ignore your commands with 1?

It is basically free. I get the idea of doing a big push and then grabbing close boss, if you don't think you'll be able to get a keep or a second fort.

It's a bit of both.
If you have them cursed or if you kill someone, just go do damage. Player controlled heroes are very good at doing damage to structures.
Get lanes pushed in, get pressure on them, then you can pull back and grab a boss. Do it near the end of a curse while you still have pressure or risk them collapsing on you once they notice you are missing.
Early bosses are less worth it, to weak and take too long to capture.
In any game, at any time you can, ATTACK FORTS ADN KEEPS. Mercs and even bosses are to be used as a nice bonus when it's convenient. Do not take camps if you can be doing damage.

Your olny other option is to play highly mobile split pushers like sylvanas and learn to not get ganked.

If you buy cheap heroes and lack solid skills, you'll place lower then you'd like. YOu will then become stuck at that rank because blizzard will forever place you back into it each season.
You can get better at the game over time but your teammates wont.

Currently sifting through my games in the vod and you're right, every game really isn't that interesting so it feels a lot better to just take the better games (like the tychus one or the battlefield of eternity) and upload only those instead of every game. Feels a bit lazy to just slice the vod up and throw them up on youtube
I've never done a review video in my life, so it's definitively something I need to learn, if I do I'd probably follow a format similar to tankspot where the flow of the game is constant and never changing but the video is edited between different heroes and what they're up to. so you'll see what different heroes are up to, but the game timer is always ticking constantly
