I have searched in google for nigredo to upgrade my ursine silver sword to enhanced and seems I need a diagram to craft it.

Thing is I've seen some herbalists and they don't seem to be sealing diagrams. I mean, they used to, but after practicum in advanced alchemy I have not seen any and I'm worrying now.

The only one that I bought diagrams from was that girl that did the nithing but I bought everything from her before she died.

I also checked on the alchemy for the nigredo and I don't have the option.

Trissfu is the brave leader of oppressed mages, risking her life and managing alone in Novigrad's underbelly while working on securing a better future for them in Kovir and avoiding capture.

Yenfu is a relentless and brave woman ready to do anything for the people she loves and especially her daughter Cirilla of Vengerberg.

Shani is a career driven woman, a brilliant medic, yet unafraid to get her hands dirty for the ideals she set for herself.

The fact they are all cute and adorable is only a bonus.

Yennefer: sits idly until Geralt comes to help her. She is somewhat better incorporated to the story but after the curse quest she becomes irrelevant like the other barbie dolls. I don't know about the daughter part, every character including Ciri hated her guts so if anything she's basically only there to make fun of the strong woman stereotype.

Shani: literally exists only to be romanced. The DLC pushes her romance and once the romance part is over she might as well not exist.

Nope, after her romance quest is done, Triss comes to KM and helps defend Ciri, fighting bravely alongside Geralt. She later proceeds to help locate other members of the Lodge and participates in the final battle. And if you romanced her you get some amazing scenes showing the depths of her heart.

Yen also does the same as Triss regarding the battle and the Lodge and before that lifts Uma's curse. She also manages to convince Emhyr to pardon other members of the Lodge and release Fringilla who provides much needed help in the final battle. Not to mention her role in Skellige, which provides key information for locating Ciri.

Shani is a waifubait, but she is better compared to Keira and her role as a romance option doesn't take away from her unique and interesting personality. Even as such, she is still better than anything Bioware can came up with.

Is there some in-game lore way to reliably find herbs? In the first game there was the books you could find that told you what herbs looked like and where to find them so you could harvest them, but right now I'm just running around grabbing whatever leafs show up on my map and I haven't found any other alternative besides keeping my eyes peeled for flowers among the general foliage.

I don't think there is any such way to learn about them. Basically you just gotta keep looting them as you explore. Most plants are common enough though that you should find them naturally, the only one I recall being rarer was arenaria, and even then you can just buy it from herbalists if you can't find any.

Also keep in mind that unlike TW1 in TW3 you only need herbs and alchemy ingredients to brew potions and decoctions etc once. Replenishing them afterwards only requires alcohol.
