Oh yeah. It's more than functional. It's got a sliver of blue, which isn't super hard to maintain with Readiness (without Razor Sharp), 230 raw, a bit of Ice element, and a Power Phial.

230 is such a massive amount of raw, that it has more power than anything below 210 at green, so the lack of white (without S+2) is honestly not that big of a deal. Also means that the axe hits that much harder as well. And, most importantly, it's sexy as fuck.

In Generations Load Up raises the number of phials charged by each tier of phial charges. Yellow charges 5 phials at once instead of 3, red charges 10 instead of 5. It's really good for Limit Breaker builds, but I like to use it for fast charging times, and since elemental CBs are all about dumping phials non-stop, it helps a lot.

The shield thrust. One slash and a shield thrust to the head basically meant a stagger and I could use that time to get some bursts. Admitedly, I did try Striker and I wasn't feeling it, it's hard to snipe head bursts when Rathian keeps rushing you to the walls. But that may be just me, I'm not top-grade hunter material, someone might get the better of me with Striker.

I tried Guild too and it was a shit experience. Never again.

I'm running majorly Striker too, it is good for the majority of mons. I just changed because I was trying to exploit the dragon weakness on Rathian's head and Striker wasn't cutting it.

I don't think there's any other situation where I had to change to other style because of bad match ups, but Rajang and Jho are extra comfy with Adept, if only because of tremor exploiting.

SA is great.
Not because it's a particularly technical weapon (lol spam x in sword mode!),
but because it's cool looking, it has side hops, it has great positioning tools, it feels good to switch between modes even if it's usually forward x into sword 99% of the time, it's mobile thanks to EE and quick(er) swings, etc.
Also, the coolest looking weapon in the whole game is the Teo SA, even if it's not great.

Blast isn't bomb damage. What bombardier does is increase the amount of slime/blast on your weapon. The amount of slime/blast doesn't increase the damage of the explosion, it increases the amount of slime/blast damage you do to the monster which makes it easier to cause explosions.

It works similar to status effects. For example, whether your weapon has 2 poison or 200 poison, the amount of damage the poison effect does would not change. What changes is how easy it is to apply poison to a monster.

That's literally the best one possible. I've got +1 OOO. I'm going to have to clownsuit Chaos Archbrigandine and Torso Up with a RF+4 and RF+1 gem with my talisman. With Barrage earring that gives me two armor pieces to get at least one more halfway decent skill in somehow.

I seriously have no idea why they capped RF like it was a deviant skill. +3 max and exclusively as a secondary on charms.

They have less health and come out one at a time. Bring combines for mega potions and books 1 and 2 and you'll be fine. Bring max and ancient potions if you're really worried about it.
