Slims are a lot easier to take apart, far less ribbon cables.
When it comes to putting the bluray drive back in, it's a lot easier to simply take the top off and feed the ribbon in after you've plugged it back into the board, SO much easier.
Take it apart slowly and keep the screws in some sort of map so you don't mix them up. There are arrow markers all over the parts indicating screwholes for that stage of assembly.
Use artic silver, mx4 or just whatevers on hand just be sure to clean the old shit off properly first.

Fuck, i just found the "cannot save" error without going to sleep mode.
I was playing Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (had to fix it with chinese semen). The game autosaves at the end of each mission, i did a few of them with no trouble and then it started refusing to save. I didn't turn it off, suspended or even went into Live area in between the saves. At least missions are short in that game so didn't lose much progress, and was fixed simply by closing and reopening the application.

Open up Vitashell. Locate the ux0 folder, then go to the apps folder. Locate the game based on the title id. Open it up and then open up the sce_module folder. Drag and drop all of the files into the folder. Make sure you do not delete the previous folder and/or the steroids file.

License related things still apply which is a big problem. I can install PT, I can install any PKG (as long as FW permits it as it checks FW version) but I cant boot it. I can fake license ownership but I have not figured out of that applies only to dev builds of games

On top of this dev builds and retail builds are not the same (no shit), but any attempt to install and play a retail game will result in an error. We have to resign the eboot/pkg to be able to do so and thats not going to happen for a while due to the same reasons we cant resign eboots yet on vita

Think of the PS4 and Vita as the same system, but throw in that a PS4 demands dev specific stuff to operate while a vita just takes it
