ABC (revamped version of Kaiba's XYZ) is coming out this year in a structure deck, and people expect it to be meta. Both new TCG exclusive archetypes (Subterrors & SPYRALS) are inexpensive right now, but there's no way of knowing how they will turn out. Kozmo and various Pendulum strategies will probably be nipping at their heels. There's a new rank 2 frog coming out that is hype. Frogs, Aqua Actresses, Mermails, and any deck that can make a R4 with two water monsters can use it.

Basic Floodgates like Vanity/Jowgen/Ophion easily counter Blue-eyes.

The biggest problem Buster Blader in a matchup against BEWD has is that it can get fucked over by Alternative pop pretty easily. Other than that, it has the advantage provided it doesn't brick itself to death (which is admittedly a tricky prerequisite), especially going second if it doesn't get disrupted while setting up a Dragon Destroyer to just outright OTK with all the dragons in the BE player's graveyard.

Gets dicked by every other meta deck though. Especially Kozmo, Kozmo doesn't even give a fuck about any of the equips.

I just want a decent Syncho deck. Crystrons are a great microcosm of the every problem with Synchro archetypes, with their restrictions. They HAVE to be made retardedly restrictive so they don't turn into Triple Quasar Turbo and that led to only being able to access a really small pool of Synchros to prevent this. And part of this is due to Synchros being inherently stronger; their bosses might've been powercreeped, but they're relatively generic, their materials hit the grave to trigger effects and fill it with material, and generally have higher ATK than Xyz monsters.

The issue with Crystrons is the whole accel synchro mechanic with there barely being anything worthwhile to go into.
The sheer fact that it's restricted to machines really fucked the deck over since if it could summon Black Rose/Moonlight Rose, Omega, Trishula and others instead of that Zero Gravity monster, it could be very good.
