No. Not even in the slightest:
SPG have one single shot.
CV can send all their planes upon you in a single strike.
SPG have such a low accuracy the shell might miss you completely.
CV can shove a wall of torps on your broadside with pinpoint accuracy every time.
You can hide from SPG, depending on the map; some maps are even almost completely arty safe.
There's no map feature that gives you CV cover.
Arty have to rely on their team to provide targets.
CV can spot their own targets.
SPG have so little HP they're dead in two shots at most, but usually one is more than enough.
CV can endure some shelling thanks to the damage mechanics of this game.

It doesn't matter how good you are.
In a huge number of ships you will simply take several torpedo and bomb hits, no matter what you do, no matter how good YOU personally are.
You have to hide behind several of your teammates to somewhat mitigate that damage. Your AA is a statistics-based RNG diceroll, and becasue it doesn't actually stack, not even that can really stop a CV unless you are at higher tiers and/or near an AA specc'd US CA.
If your teammateas are bots, bads, retards or subhumans who refuse to move away from teh blue line, you are unable to act.
This is one of the parts of this game that does not reward teamplay while harshly punishing initiative, which makes high-tier matches such a horrible campfest.
Unless you spend 100% of your games in a div where one member plays as USN CA AA memester, a CV can simply decide to end you anytime you move more than 3 km away from your team's blob.
You can angle against enemy fire even if it means sitting bow-on like a huge faggot, you can torpedobeat DDs unless they really manage to stay 100% undetected before they launch. But any competent CV will plant three or four torpedoes into your ass (and set you on fire multiple times).

I have an idea. So I'm gonna preface it with saying that I used to have a modifier to nerf the effect of 2-man and 3-man div stats, but I got rid of it when I broke it down by ship because of math issues. Namely, the problem was that some people play ZERO solo games in certain ships, which made the math all wonky. (How it worked was that the DIFFERENCE between your div'd Skill was multiplied by a modifier less than 1, and then the result was added to your solo Skill, the net result of which was to nerf the effect of your div'd results somewhat without making it go in the opposite direction.)
I want to re-introduce the modifier. The 2-man div modifier would be 0.5 and the 3-man div modifier would be 0.33. The justification would be that your individual contribution is responsible for half of the change in stats in a 2-man div, and 1/3 of the change in stats in a 3-man div. Example: someone with a solo Skill of 100 and unadjusted 2-man and 3-man Skills of 130 and 140 would get the latter two adjusted to 115 and 113.33. Someone with solo Skill of 120, 2-man of 130, and 3-man of 140 would get the latter two adjusted to 125 and 126.67.
The big problem with this is that it relies on your ship's solo Skill to: 1) exist at all, and 2) be at least halfway accurate. #1 requires it to not be null, and #2 requires it to sample a decent number of games. So my proposed solution is that if you have less than, say, 10 solo games in a ship, your 2-man and 3-man div numbers are going to be adjusted against the server average solo stats. That way, you can't sit on your 100% solo WR (after one game) and have it completely skew your ship's stats.

Because botes will have their own characteristics. If you are in a bote so shitty that its averaged server WR is 20% and you manage to eke out double the performance with a 40% WR, then you deserve double the credit. Nikolai gets 60% WR and Atlanta gets like 47%. A 70% WR in Nikolai counts for less, game-for-game, than a 57% WR in Atlanta. It is easier to do better in better ships.

The best games I had in the last ffew days were the pure BB games on the CTS.
Lots of brawling, angling left and right, dodging ram attempts or trying to ram an enemy before you die, secondaries blazing in all directions.
I guess the game works like it's meant to there because everyone has unlimited credits.

Well t7 is the sweet spot to play right now. You will be top tier most of the time while the game economy is not punishing in the slightest. In the few games you are bottom tier, you get great amounts of exp and there are rarely more than a few t9s.

Bismarck has to get within 6km and fail to dodge torps to lose. Bismarck has no reason to be that close and is faster and more agile than Tirpitz. On top of that she has hydro so you can't sneak up on her either.
If you want to grind credits get Atago, Tirpitz is straight up obsolete.
