Operators - Probably the most logical and "normal" ones. They just seem like Gunners out for money. Not too edgy, decent clothes.

The Pack - Fucking hilarious, it's like they're all drugged up to death and think they're wolves.

The Disciples - CRAAAAALING IN MY SKIIIIIIIN!! But if you're going to be a raider leader then you may as well go all the way, these are the guys to do that.

I dunno. I was originally 100% set on Operators but the other two are good for their own reasons.

I gave up settlement building long time ago when I realized that no matter how much work you put in and how comfy it get, your settler are brainless idiots with the worst AI coded who stand outside in a group like zombies

Finally unlocked the Project Cobalt Schematics and the Bradberton Vault gear.
I was surprised by actually finding it to be a difficult choice, as Sierra ended up pretty distraught when I eventually killed him, but I had to shut him off since he was practically begging to die. Tested out the Quantum Nuke and it was obscenely powerful.

I'm done with the DLC now, overall I was satisfied. I would've liked the option of a raider ending, or the ability to actually kill Preston Garvey, but the dialogue was a lot better than the base game and overall it was a good, fun ride.

I want to make love to a bloatfly.

I went into it thinking I'd support the Operators. But they just seemed like two-bit mercs when I actually saw them. I hate the Disciples because they're just edgy losers. I found myself being drawn to the pack because they work on a strict hierarchy and made more sense to me, plus they're just cool guys.

That being said, he should have known better. NV and Skyrim on the PS3 were trainwrecks and if mods are your thing, you're always going to be better off on a PC.

I only have a laptop that at best can support NV with mods. I bought it on PS4 knowing full well I would ever get mods. I'm not angry at bethesda for that, as far as I can tell it's sony that is holding up the mods, not bethesda.

The only thing I can really say as a console user is that, I played the game once though when it came out, and just started a new play about a month ago, and the improvement is noticeable. I'm getting alot more out of it this time with all the dlc than I did the first time, especially concerning settlements development. I think they've done a good job considering the limitations of the consoles. It sucks that the game was dumbed down for traditional pc users, but I'm happy with the amount of money I paid vs # of hours/entertainment I got out of the game.

What can and can not have balistic weave in an unmodded game makes no sense. Probably the most incomprehensible selection of items possible. The only general rule just seems to be that cool looking or useful items can't have it. Pretty much every character going for max weave will wear that one Fedora because there are only about 3 hats than can even have weave.

After going through the Gauntlet with Piper, I don't recommend going with a companion until after you are done with that shit. She kept setting off traps and getting our armor busted.

The only thing Piper does in NW is "Piper loved that" if you free the slaves.

The guns dealer sells a legendary version of the AK and the ammo for it, and there's another trader (one without a slave collar) that sells a legendary Disciple Knife. Gage also sells non-legendary AKs and its ammo.
As for Power Armor, you've got the Overboss set, Nuka Cola T51, and Quantum X01. That's it.

the ammo is in Nuka World, but not in the commonwealth. And unless you want to murder raiders, you need to buy it.

You can either buy a pretty much max upgraded Furious version of it(pretty much the best auto weapon right there) or get a nonupgraded Furious version by passing a hard speech check on one of the raider leaders early on.

Sounds like a good idea to rush to Nuka World and spend everything you have buying the Splattercannon early on. It just wrecks shit.

I was going through all the different melee weapons in the weapon station to see what all you could make, the rocket attachment on the sledgehammer now makes the super sledge 100% obsolete...and now baseball bats can be modded to do over fucking 300 damage.

And all I wonder is why Bethesda hates the Shishkebab so fucking much. It got no new mods and now a modded baseball bat can outdamage it.

So far I gave Operators the Galactic Zone, I gave the pack the Safari zone for Obvious reasons and I gave the Disciples the Kiddie Kingdom because they are edgy children. I plan on giving the bottling plant to the operators too, but am undecided on Dry Gulch.

That's the idea.

Putting meltdown on a weapon would be too broken, so this is the next best thing. It roughly amounts to a +20 damage per hit or so, but if you're smart you can prime it up on a companion, and then get a sneak attack crit with the explosion.

So you can mix and match some of the parts? I kinda wish the weapon parts system was done a little bit differently. Like legendary weapon parts, so people's guns wouldn't always be 100% straight upgrades. For example a legendary reciever that is otherwise kinda lame, but has some neat legendary effect to it, like +50% damage.

Needs more testing, there's only so much I can test at once, but it's been more balanced since that iteration.

It does do somewhat more damage than a regular GL, and has way better accuracy, and pierces targets, but I've neutered its range to about 25% of the GL's, making it a very short ranged tool. Way longer than a melee weapon, but you can't snipe with it or anything. In addition, the hitbox is rather narrow, and burst fire doesn't exactly work due to the nature of the thing.
