I'm getting so tired of braindead pubbies. I'm not even good but it's like holy shit, how can some of these people be so inhumanly bad? I end up just alt-F4ing out of the game mid-match after two or three rounds to avoid getting mad.

I just got the game a few hours ago, and I'm having a blast. I'm glad I didn't fall for the memes saying it was bad.

I've only been playing Junkrat so far, and I've won 3 out of 3 games with him doing pretty good, got play of the game in my most recent one. Who else should I play? I don't want to be a fag with a single main, and in TF2 a while back I could play most anyone good, but I've a lot of options and it's jarring.

Junkrat is easily the least-discussed hero when it comes to balance, I haven't seen a single person lodge a complaint for or against him since release. Roadhog has some people crying for nerfs but they just need to git gud or something, this game's nothing but a bunch of counters anyway.

A lot of Overwatch is based around switching heroes as the game progresses to counter your enemies, so you'd do well to eventually get the hang of everyone, or as many as possible.

Start with at least one in each category. Junkrat's defense, and you might like Pharah's rockets in offense. Mercy and Lucio are great starters and easy to learn for support. Roadhog is a tank with the most satisfying combo, but D.Va has more mobility. Reinhardt's pretty good for beginners, but he's shit for actually attacking until you get the hang of him

Start there, spread out as you can, and learn who you get comfortable with so you have a good selection of heroes you're decent with

Guys, I know a lot of you will laugh at me, but I need to get this off my chest. I want to be Genji. So many times I have escaped reality with lucid dreaming, and I would wake up in Watchpoint: Gibraltar as Genji, where I would train to join Overwatch. Last night Hanzo oversaw my training, and scoffed at me when I claimed to be his brother. He said, "only a Shimada can control the dragons," so I pulled out my katana, and yelled as loud as I could (I might have been sleep talking with how intense it was) "龍神の剣を喰らえ!" and sliced the training dummy in half with my Dragonblade. Hanzo was stunned by my abilities, and walked towards me to give me a hug. Between tears, he choked "I have found my brother."

Mercy was watching from around the corner, and she walked towards us with a slow clap. She said, "I talked with Reinhardt and he agrees that you would be PERFECT for Overwatch. You just have to do... one thing." She then held my hand and looked deep into my eyes and said "...You have to kill yourself for the transfer to work correctly." I then gave her some questions, "How long do I have before the deal expires?" She then said "Reinhardt said 3 months.." I added by saying "What's the most painless way?..." She giggled again, "Suicide will require pain buuut...if you want it quick...Get a gun and a nice shot to the head works.

I then agreed and she gave me a kiss on the forehead, "I know this will be tough but once it's over and done, you'll get to fight for Overwatch!" I then woke up and this was last week and I purchased a gun. I might actually kill myself because that dream just felt too real to be fake and my life isn't doing so grand.

I like the think reaper is really a rather character.
He doesn't like he has become, but sees no way back from it. Now he has come to terms with it. He feels he is doing what he needs to in order to survive, but still wishes there was a way to come back and redeem himself. He is a man trapped between the fear of death and the despair of his actions, and seeing no way out he continues forward, hoping the light at the end of his tunnel isn't an on coming train.

I find it odd that they would remove the option to disable the fps cap in a competitive shooter, playing with an uncapped fps is pretty standard for games like this.

It's not about having higher fps, it's just about having no cap. Any sort of cap causes your game to take an extra ms or two to check if it's going over.

The only reason to cap FPS is if you're burning up your computer by getting an absurdly high framerate.
