Time-travel always rustles my autism if I think too deeply about it in stories, since its rarely self consistent. Steins Gate is the closest its come in recent years to a story getting it right. Since the entire story was about time-travel, so they really hammered out the rules there.

You can travel through time, yet we're supposed to act like time is progressing inside of each Order linearly, when its the past? If goddess Rhon fucks things up and travels into space, then quickly rush back to Chaldea, and travel further back into the past before the knights and ozzy were summoned into that place. How the hell is it time-travel if its linearly progressing at the same rate as your set of time in the future, yet its the past, and has already occurred. The fact that its already occurred means you should be able to travel further back and chance it.

Its like they treat the past as a separate dimension here they can travel to at will, rather than what it actually is, which is the past.

There's a few rules; no wish for the grail, Karna is disqualified because he has god-killing spear and doesn't consider himself a saint so that indicates another rule, and being a saint is mentioned in the original draft as being necessary. However "saint" doesn't necessarily mean canonized catholic saint, since it did say Karna almost qualified if he didn't have two or three things disqualifying him. Saint could mean an extremely pious and upright person perhaps, or it might mean an envoy of a god, most likely the former. Yet the fact that Karna having an anti-god weapon disqualifying probably means being close to god might be part of it.

Rules are loose, just like with a lot of classes, but the word saint is used a lot.

Basically she's not what you think or probably even need at all when you need a [Class] servant. I love Asako but she does not do stars well and her only real worth is in her 3 arts deck that just lets you go full Arts chain meme with a team. She's not a good Assassin whom of which you majorly want to specialize in Stars and in the event they don't do Stars well they'd better be at least very good at countering a type of enemy or Insta-killing like Shiki.
Lancer Artoria is like that for Lancers because she doesn't do her own damage optimization well if at all because she cannot go in balls deep with a critical increase or Single Target NP and potentially rack up some disgusting looking numbers.

Why would you take CEs out of the equation? In any case, my point is Amakusa is a little shit who doesn't do damage against anyone, will give you a few stars for 3 turns unless you are willing to waste a lot of resources, take off 1 charge from the enemy servant ,if you are fighting the right kind of enemy, every 12 turns and maybe stun another kind of enemy, unless you want to waste even more resources, every 8 turns.

And after his skills enter in cooldown until the end of times you'll keep drawing his useless cards for a long time since he takes a while to die.

I don't really care about Lancer Arthuria, but there isn't a single servant worse than Amakusa.

Stheno's new skill a bit more reliable than Jeanne Alter's since there are more Divine servant than Dragon.

Based on NP: Sumanai, Astolfag, and Amakuso, none of them break 20K barrier. But Sumanai's niche against dragon is pretty good while Amakuso's anti-demon skill is only for reduce charge, and Astolfo was not the barrel bottom Rider NP wise.
