Spelunky does have an update, it won't even let you play the game without it. I can dump the game just fine but it doesn't work when I try to install the VPK. I thought that maybe having the update with it would fix, but it didn't - in fact, trying to dump the update even gave me an error. You can't downgrade from 3.61 so over time it will be more difficult to get one. All brand new Vitas are hackable, but obviously not all used Vitas are. I wouldn't be surprised if the price of used Vitas goes up too.

One of the easiest consoles to pirate on. Possibly only beaten out by the PSP because people can literally sign their own homebrew to run on OFW. Here's pasta from last thread:
- Update your Vita to 3.60 if it isn't already (If you're on 3.61 you're fucked)

- Turn on WiFi on your vita, open the web browser, go to henkaku.xyz and click install.
- Open MoleculeShell (aka VitaShell) and press Select.
- An FTP server is now running on your Vita. Use something like FileZilla to connect to it. Make a new directory in ux0 (call it whatever you want).
- Navigate to the VPK in VitaShell and press X install it.
- Install Vitamin like that so you can dump your games.
- Delete the VPK from your Vita because you don't need it anymore.

Vitamin is pretty self explanatory. Just follow the onscreen instructions and make sure to disable sleep mode because your dump will fail if your Vita goes to sleep.
